Question:	Has anyone tried using this with pine/cedar/walnut pellets? The pellets would need to stay in the top pan and the sawdust fall through
Answer:	The holes are too big to use pellet litter. The pellets fall through. You need the holes to be smaller so that the "sawdust" (pellets broken down from pee) falls through the holes to be dumped out, so you can save the whole pellets and put them back in the litter pan to be used.
Question:	Can this be used with non-clumping pine litter
Answer:	Yes, it can. I prefer it to the litter box meant for feline pine litter. You use this one differently, however. The litter is used in a solid bottom pan. I scoop the poop regularly and shake the pan to make the saw dust go to the bottom of that pan. After about a week, I empty the litter into the shifting pan and shakes the sawdust through to into the second pan. Toss out the saw dust and pour the remaining pine litter back into the original pan. It is fast and easy. The pans are easy to wipe clean.
Question:	How much litter do you add? How do I get the sifter back under the litter after emptying it
Answer:	Usually 3-4 inches of litter will suffice. Step 1.Lift the sifting tray and shake from side to side. clean litter will fall through sifting tray into bottom pan. Step 2.Clumped litter will remain on top of sifting tray. Discard clumps in a trash receptacle and then clean the tray. Step 3. Reassemble litter pan using empty bottom pan. Step 4. Pour sifted litter from original pan onto sifting tray. Add more clean litter if needed. Clean original pan and place under assembled litter pan for storage.
Question:	Anyone find a hood or method for keeping the cats from kicking litter out? I love the sifting but now I have to deal with litter outside the box
Answer:	I upcycle those wonderful Amazon boxes. Since my cats love those boxes anyway, I set one on it's side and slide the litter box into the open box. That way, I have sides and a top and the litter stays in the box. It also keeps mine from scratching walls near their litter box - mine love scratching cardboard. When I empty the litter box, I pour the spilled litter back into the clean box. By the way, the Amazon boxes are sturdy enough to spray paint if you need to color coordinate. The best thing is that if they destroy the covering box, I know I will have another Amazon delivery coming!

Answer:	The play circuit that I have is just a snake shape, not circular. It also lays flat to the surface with no roller coaster type lifts. Mine is more basic but I had a 1 yr old cat who was very rambunctious and attention hungry while I tried to work from home. This version kept him happy for long periods and then he would take a catnap from exhaustion. It was a job saver for me. I would highly recommend either version for very playful kitty's.

Answer:	There are two versions, the original and the speed circuit. The original version does not come with a lighted ball. The speed circuit version (which costs a bit more) does include the lighted ball.

Answer:	No. Older cats seem to get bored with it fairly quickly and see thro the game as balls that go no where. Kittens Love it! Answer:	This toy does NOT use any batteries. The ends (end caps) have a slight elevation which pushes the ball out from the ends into the track. The cat/kitten moves the ball around the track by using his paw in the holes in top of the track. Hope this helps.

With the Catit pans, I regularly clean the underside of the detachable rims that overhang the litter, because I have found urine there (especially the low step-in edge in front). One of our cats, a fairly large domestic shorthair, likes to stand with her backside close to the edge of a litter pan as she urinates. She can easily urinate out the front and even over the tall back edge of either the Catit or Nature's Miracle pan. If you have a cat that sits/squats in the middle of the pan to urinate, you are less likely to find urine under the detachable rim.

Answer:	First off, NO!!! u do not have to use a liner, I just wash mine once ever 6-8 weeks. The whole top(the lighter grey erea) comes off, however it has a lock on eachside so that u just cant accidentally lift it off when u don't want it to. It is a very simple lock, one on each side, u put the top on and then slide the lock on both sides to the back of the litter box. On the top of the litter box u can see the darker grey, it also lifts up by itself along with the see-thru flip flop style of door for your Cat. I personally never use it but it is a nice option to have if u dont want to take the top off every time u scoop out there daily bathroom leavings. Either way this is hands down the best LitterBox I have ever used, my 2 cats love it, also one of my cats is a huge cat weighing in at 18 pounds, he is not fat just a big cat, and he can easily get in and out thanx to the design and the oversized door. Both my cat can get in and out and they love it. I cannot reccomend this box high enough and don't be nervous buying it online, I found it in a store and at the store it was more expensize even with the shipping included so buy it here on AMAZON and dont give it a second thought u will be very very SATISFIED! Answer:	Yes, of course it smells bad inside. But the fumes are not exactly trapped. There is some air exchange, but they are contained far better than an open litter box.

Answer:	I am not a vet but I will share what I believe to be accurate. Our vet prescribed this because our dog, weighing 80 lbs, had Giardia in her stool sample. She was prescribed two packets (40 lbs doses) a day for three days, along with 1 1/2 tablets of an antibiotic called Metronidazole 500 mgs, twice a day, for 7 days. We are also supposed to clean up any stool in her yard because our vet said that all she has to do is get it on her paws and then lick her paws to become reinfected. After this routine her stool will be rechecked. So, how long? If the environment is cleaned up, and your dog's stool sample comes back clean the second time, I'd say you're good to go. If not I'm guessing you'll have to go through it all over again, immediately.

Answer:	Top fits over. I, also, have a lazy girl who doesn't squat. Best cat box I've ever had and I've had many cats. Sturdy, lightweight, easy to clean, well made. I have no complaints and I'm very particular.

Answer:	Yes, the top flap folds up and leaves a large opening for you to get in there and clean. It's the best box we've had. Very sturdy and plenty of room.
Question:	Can the flap come off? My cats prefer an open door
Answer:	Yes, easy to remove clear flap (I did this for my big cats, 18 and 17 pound), and you can either 1) fold back the gray flap--which you will do when you clean, or 2) permanently remove the gray flap w/filter. Your choice,
Question:	is this the litter box sold as "jumbo" -dimensions- 22 long-19.7 Wide- 18.5 high
Answer:	I recently bought the Jumbo size. Using a tape measure, the interior dimensions I got at the very BASE (floor) of the pan are approx. 16"L × 15.5"W. There are semi-rounded corners at the base, which I did not include in my measurements. The pan flares out a bit from bottom to top, so the interior dimensions I got for the upper portion of the litter pan (not including the hooded cover) are approx. 21"L × 18"W. The height of the pan (not including the hooded cover) is approx. 6.5" at the front end & 11" at the back end. I apologize if my measurements aren't precisely accurate, but it's a bit difficult to take exact measurements due to curved corners, tapered side walls, etc. Hope this helps a little, though. I do love this litter box and so do my "twin" 1-yr-old tabby boys, who already weigh 16 lbs each...Yikes! Now that I have a great litter box they both like, the bigger challenge is finding a low-cal. food they'll actually eat...no luck so far. Answer:	I have owned this litter box for over 6 months and I have NEVER used bag liners. Personally, i think bag liners just get scratched up and do more harm than good. So yes, you can. However, the purpose of bag liners is to keep the litter sanitary and clean - I would definitely be sure to clean the litter often so feces don't stick to the bottom or anything like that. - Heather

Answer:	Door is 7 1/2 inch wide x 13 inch high floor to top of the arch. My 16 lbs male cat uses it conveniently.

It made it look like there was a clip to help secure the liner in place inside but we didn't see anything like that, and the liner keeps sliding off the curved inside edge along t
Answer:	At first I tried to fold the plastic liner over the edge of the lower half. It would not fit. I tried just bringing the bag up to the edge. I secured it with a few small pieces of tape. When the dome is placed on top it traps the edge of the bag holding it in place. I just need to learn where to purchase more bags. Will start at the website. Good luck!
Question:	Can a dog get its head in the box. (I know, I am sorry
Answer:	We have chihuahuas (5, 6 and 9 lbs). The oldest 9 lb doesn't even try to go in but the other two can zip in and out of there as if it was made for them. They don't move the lid or anything; they are smaller then the cat. But they will try to drag kitty litter and then some out of it frequently. No problems for me though as they do the same and worse with litter boxes uncovered or with a normal box cover.
