But this one is fairly quite, not as quite as their other models. For me, the best one is the mid level one with no internal battery. It is very quite and takes very little watts. Answer:	Yes, the controls for the fan and lights are independent. However, I would not buy this fan. I'm about to return it for the second time. Neither the fan or the lights stay on for more than a minute even when plugged in.

Answer:	No it does not. I wear 38" pants and the belt fits only if I take in a deep breath. In other words, it doesn't fit.

Answer:	I held it under running water for 10 seconds and only the outside was wet. However, if you totally submerge it the water will find its way in through the zipper. I might call it pretty water resistant but I wouldn't put my cell phone in it and go swimming. I might put my phone in it and go fishing - if you get out quick enough I bet it'll be okay as long as the zipper is tightly closed. I'd definitely go on a water ride or walk in the rain.
