If you have to, you can administer directly to the mouth, but if you're going to do it that way, we would suggest measuring the dose into a separate syringe and mixing with some food or water before giving it to your pet. Answer:	i have never sed Calm Temprament. I was desperate about my young cat who had started acting insane, had lost much of her fur, and was throwing herself against walls in fear. My vet had started giving her cortisone shots, and soon I knew we couldn't do that, the last cat went blind on that protocol. So I searched [ did not tell the vet] and found thyroid GOLD. They have another one called thyroid SILVER. If your cat takes the gold, she has some of the symptoms I described, overwrought etc. within a week the thyroid GOLD turned her around, made her calm, she put on weight, became very friendly again, grew a fabulous long and beautiful fur coat, and is my Joy. If your cat has the opposite symptoms and is sluggish etc, you should totalk to the manufacturer because they are excellent at ferreting out which one it is...then you have to be very vigilant because at one point I was sent the SILVER and noticed all he symptoms coming back...Finally I read the label and saw what I had not seen, I didn't even know they mfg. SILVER. So, I ordered Gold again and all has been good for many years.Back then I did and do give her a larger dose because she seemed to need it and have continued on it at that level...I would go slow on it because it takes time to adjust.
