Answer:	NO, it is not. Others who said it is VOHC accepted are incorrect. As of January 2019, Oxyfresh Premium Pet Dental Care Solution is NOT on the VOHC list of accepted products.

Answer:	I make two quarts at a time and I don't refrigerate. My three cats drink about a quart of water a day so my supply lasts for 2 day at least. I would think in a well closed container, four days at room temperature would not be unreasonable. I have been using this product for 14 years. My 14 year old female has never needed her teeth cleaned. My 14 year old male had his first cleaning at age 10 and has not yet needed it done again. My 8 year old male started life as a little street cat. When we rescued him at 2 years old, he needed an immediate cleaning and then again two years later at the age of 4. He has needed no professional dental care since.
Question:	How does this actually eliminate bad breath? In other words, people can eat a mint to freshen their breath, but that only masks underlying problems
Answer:	If you read the products descriptions completely on the item page you'll see that it's the ZINC that's the key to good breath. And yes they sell zinc products for humans too including candies to suck on and products to disolve in the mouth for folks with dry mouth and bad breath and sore throats too. So it's the Zinc more than anything else. Of course if you have a tiny pet and cats and dogs are usually smaller than us human folk and also sometimes have senstivitites to human ok products so you don't want to just use anythng you have for you on all pets without investigating the amount and if it's safe at all. Ask your VET in otherwords before going off in DIY land and mixing your own potions for your pets. Not trying to tell you perse but if anyone else reads this better to be warned than sorry someone went too far and harmed their beloeved fur baby. Or feathered too I see this can be used for birds. Since the ingredients are not listed as amounts or formulas given for this product I'd stay with it or other similar products that probably are safely tested to know it's safe for most pets. I ended up calling the manufacturer SwedenCare USA just now, asking what's the exact difference between this "felines only" version and their normal product. They told me that this "for cats only" formula of PlaqueOff is the EXACT same product as the original powder with dogs & cats pictured on the bottle....except it ADDS a small bit of an extra ingredient called Brewer's Yeast. And that's ONLY for taste purposes, so that finnicky cats have a better chance of eating food with this sprinkled on it. But if your cat doesn't mind the taste of the REGULAR variety of PlaqueOff (the kind with the dogs & cats pictured together on the bottle's label) then you should be just fine staying with that....in fact, probably even better off cost-wise, because that formula can be bought in big 180g bottles for less money-per-serving (vs. the feline formula is only sold in 40g bottles, as far as I know). Answer:	the heat will not damage the product efficacy, but it will make the product more oily when you twist it open. If that happens you can keep it in the fridge for 24 hours. Ideally it is best to keep it at room temperature. Also if 1-TDC has been exposed to hot temperature the oils can separate and give it a grainy texture. Answer:	The dosage is one capsule daily per 50 pounds of body weight. My cats are small so I do it every other day. Not true about under 5 pounds. Any size dog or cat benefits greatly by using the 1 TDC.

Answer:	My bottle had the label covering the directions also and I had the same thought that it was the worst possible place to put it. I peeled mine off but it is not that easy to remove. Answer:	I switched from Nutramax Cosequin as the product was not readily available for refill when I needed it. In my research, I came across Swaggy. I am still on the first bottle. Differences: Cosequin suggested for two soft chews daily for a cat over 10 Lbs. It comes in a package of 60. Glucosamine=125mg/two chews. Swaggy is one soft chew daily and has more to last before a refill in necessary. They are the size of a sugar cube. Glucosamine is 250mg/one chew. It also has MSM and Chrondroitin along with other nutrients. Keep in mind as you read the ingredients on this bottle that it suggests one chew per 30lb cat but depicts nutrient amount per 2 chews. Why...???

Question:	The product bag lists iodine content at 1%. How do I convert this to mcg's...for feeding my dogs
Answer:	The label says 0.1% iodine. That is 0.1% of whatever you give. So, for example, if you give 1/4t of the product and assume 1/4t weighs 1 gram (you can weigh it yourself and swap out 1 gram for whatever you weigh, but this will probably be close; another kelp product lists 1/4t as weighing 1 gram), multiply 1g (aka 1 gram) and multiply it by 0.1% you get 0.001 g. To get to mcg you multiply whatever grams times 1,000,000, so 1g of product has 1,000 mcg iodine (also called ug). So, if you have a large dog and give 1 tsp, you can either multiply by 4 and get 4,000 ug dose of iodine, or chunk whatever weight of product you use into the formula: g of product x 0.001 x 1,000,000= ug of iodine. The National Academy of Science/Research Council recommends 220 ug/day for a 33lb dog. The AAFCO guidelines are 250 ug-2750 ug per 1000 calories of food. If you are feeding your dog industrial food (vs homemade), you are going to want to check how much iodine your dog is already getting.
