Answer:	I have mp3 files downloaded in my itunes library....so I would believe it should read them off the micro sd card. I haven't used my sd slot to test this method however.

Answer:	The speakers do get very loud on our speaker and will reach a maximum on your phone set by our engineers to protect against blowing out the speaker. Generally all speakers are limited, as if they were not, it would be very easy to blow out and destroy the speaker cones in the speaker.
