Answer:	No. In the more than 15 years I have used this shampoo for our dogs I never wore gloves. I did, however, wash my hands thoroughly afterwards. If you have super sensitive skin though perhaps wearing gloves is probably wise. I hope this answered your question.

Answer:	I went to look on the bottle to make sure I told you correctly. The bottle says it kills fleas, ticks, lice and "flea eggs"...there isn't too much out there that kills the flea eggs. I don't want to sound like an advertisement for this company but this is the best shampoo I have ever used. I volunteer at several animal shelters, train dogs professionally and have six dogs of my own. I love the way my dogs smell after using this, the clean way the feel. Their fur is very soft after using this. I have two dogs that get very itchy. This helps with that. The down side is the last time I bought a bottle from pet smart it cost almost $20. I think that was a 12 oz bottle. When I found a gallon of this on here for a little over $50, I bought it as fast as I could. Also one thing else, after I wash them in this, they seem to stay cleaner longer then when I use other shampoos. I hope I helped you. God Bless.

Before you apply

Applying correctly starts with purchasing correctly at the store. Before purchasing, weigh your cat. Don't guess. It is important to know the exact weight of the pet to ensure you purchase the right product.

At the store, be sure to buy the product for the right species. Be sure to choose cat products for cats and dog products for dogs. These products are different formulations based on the species and weight of your pet and should never be used interchangeably.

Applying the product

- Remove product tubes from the package.

- Separate one tube from the others.

- Hold the tube with notched end pointing up and away from the face and body. Use scissors to cut off the narrow end at the notches along the line.

- While holding the cat with one hand, use the other hand to apply the solution. Invert the tube and use the narrow end to part the cat's hair.

- Apply contents of one tube as a spot between the shoulder blades.

- Hold the cat for a few seconds to give the solution time to be absorbed into the cat’s coat.

Answer:	If the cat is very dirty, I would think the cat would need a bath and you may want to get a cat shampoo that will rinse easily. This is better for light touch ups and eliminating odor. It is effective at eliminating odors.

Answer:	Know this is an old question but for anyone who sees this and has the same issue: I had a Persian/Himalayan mix who was absolutely beautiful but had the same issue with feces getting caught in the fur under her tail and being drug out of the litter box inadvertently. Sorry, but my solution was to take her to a good groomer and get a 'lion cut' and to request to make sure the hair around her behind and the top of the tail was cut very short. Problem solved, sorry but litter needs to stay in the box! Loved that cat so much... cried like a baby when she passed; that was one gorgeous animal. Btw, she loved going to the groomers, they always said she purred the entire time she was at her 'spa'. ;)

Answer:	I do not know what the manufacturer's answer is. I believe any natural ingredients listed are all fairly lifetime in nature when stored in a cool dry location. I also experience placebo results for killing fleas when the product contains chemicals (as listed on this product), IF they have been subjected to extreme heat. For instance, I am careful to not allow them to remain in my vehicle, as we have extremely hot weather 80% of the time. I also try to purchase from the same source when I have positive results, as often times the products are left on trucks in extreme humidity and heat, leaving the product useless before it leaves a store's shelves.

However, I gave my cats one bath every two weeks, until I got control of the problem. Again, follow the directions precisely as the bottle states and then monitor your cat for any reactions. This should allow you to make the right decision if more frequent baths are appropriate.
