Answer:	Not sure of your question and I’m not familiar with this clipper model. According to Conair, this blade will fit clippers with detachable-style blades. I can’t tell from the picture of the conair cpg50 if the blade detaches entirely from the clipper unit. It seems that the attachment combs of your model attach to the main blade on the clipper. If you’re looking to replace your clipper’s blade and it detaches from the clipper, check to see what hair length it cuts. This size 7 blade cuts hair approximately 1/8” in length. Usually, if you use attachment combs, the main blade would be size 10 or 15 (higher the number blade, the shorter the hair). You would then use the combs to adjust for longer hair length. I don’t use attachment combs; I just use individual detachable blades and switch them out as needed. Hope this helps but if it doesn’t, I’d contact Conair. Happy New Year!

Answer:	My vet offers cat shaving for long haired cats whose mats need to be cut off. We rescued a half wild cat who won't let us brush or trim claws. The vet tech does a great job once a year on this cat. So yes, some cats do need to be groomed on their undersides. We've used Wahl clippers for many years on our various dogs and always get great results. Other brands aren't as easy to use in my opinion.

Answer:	I have a Shih Tzu and her hair gets very long. I am also very familiar with the Cocker Spaniel coat as I have owned one as well. Yes it will work fine. Go slow in the direction of the hair, not against the direction. Keep the blades moderately oiled. Also make sure you detangle any possible knots and brush thoroughly before you cut. You will be fine.

Answer:	I have a cat this is scared of a pin dropping 3 miles away, and I was able to use this on her with no problem whatsoever. By the end she even seemed to love it. One trick I did was turn the razor on but use a comb/hand to comb the cat for 5 or 6 times. This will get them to associate the razor sound with a pleasing action. Then later put the comb aside and just use the razor and they will be none the wiser. Or at least that seemed to trick my scaredy cat. I would highly recommend this product. Good luck!

Answer:	An FC blade is a finished cut. The skip tooth blade goes through thick or matted fur better. So if your dogs fur isn't matted or super thick you should only need an FC blade. I use a FC 3-3/4 or 4 FC on a cockapoo and either does a good job (the 4 just a little shorter cut) . The FC gives a nice finished look without having to use another blade .

Answer:	Andis makes 4 'skip tooth' blades; #7FC (3.2mm), #5 (6.3mm), #4 (9.5mm), and 3 3/4 (13mm=1/2") which have a coarser blade guide which enables cutting of very dense fur/hair and especially matted hair. The #10 blade that came with my Andis AG2 was useless in clipping my Standard Poodles dense hair and I found the 3 3/4 'skip tooth' as the ideal solution to clip her hair down to a more usable length whereby the 'standard #10' clipper blade could be used to get a nice finished cut. My 3 3/4 arrived new unlike some who complained about receiving a 'used blade'. Highly recommend if you are frustrated with the more conventional Andis cutter blades - use a skip tooth blade to get started!

Answer:	My dog has straight hair, but the clipper works well for me, it does get a little warm with prolonged use, I have used it quite a few times, and it cuts well without the worry of nipping the skin, I don't see why it wouldn't work just as good curly hair, good luck.
Question:	Will this cut through / get out mats on a Maltese
Answer:	I agree with Melissa's suggestion on July 19, 2017. That method has worked for me on my Maltese mix. I also use a product called Cowboy Magic. It's used a lot on horses tails to keep out tangles, but it is amazing on getting out mats! You only use a tiny bit. It may seem oily but it does not stay oily on the pets hair. This stuff is amazing! I can't recommend it enough for tangles, mats, etc!
Question:	How exactly does the "adjustable" blade work. Obviously by the switch, but what is the difference in the settings in terms of cut
Answer:	Hello Michelle, the Wahl adjustable blade sets do adjust to 3 different sizes of cut length by moving the lever on the side of the unit. When the lever is all the way down (toward the black base of the unit) your blade will be at the #10 =1.8mm cut length; when the lever is all the way up (toward the lid of the unit) your blade will be at the #30 =0.8mm cut length. The #15 =1.5mm cut length can be reached when your lever is in between #10 & #30; right in the middle. Depending on your length preference, any of the 3 size variances (#10, #15, & #30) can be used with the attachment combs for longer lengths.

Answer:	For CWS-010 unit that I have. May work for others? 1-adjust to 2.0 setting 2-hold the unit in right or left hand as if using the device and push with both thumbs on the white and gold blades AWAY from the unit. 3-be careful that when the blade assembly suddenly pops off it doesn’t fall to the ground.
