How to use:

1.Mill Blade: start electric scissors, press abrasive stick the abrasive wheel will mill the blades automatically, to keep the blade sharp.

2.If The abrasive wheel has more greasy dirt, should use it after cleaning or changing.

Answer:	Not sure actual weight but I returned the bigger one as it was too heavy for me. This one is easy on the wrists and made it easier to maneuver around angled and curved pattern pieces. I was cutting 16 layers of cotton for PPE gowns for local hospital

1.Inspecting the blade:

Using a worn or chipped blade will put an excessive burden on the motor and affect work performance. Therefore, always use a well-cutting blade.

A. Greasing: Every 50 hours, open the cap for grease cup and give small quantity lubricating oil thru oil pot.

B. Sharpening: Please sharpen knife when its blunt.

a.Start cutting machine, make it operate under lowest speed ( 600/ rpm)

b.Use index finger gently lateral pressure grinding wheel cap，to let the grinding wheel and blade slightly contactfriction, let the grinding wheel rotation 2 - 3 seconds slowly, its finished.

2 .Inspecting the mounting screws:

Answer:	I used on duck cloth and cut about 24 pieces thick at a time loik butter. As long as the blade is sharp you could probably use it on cowhide.

Answer:	Your fabric cutter should have come with tools, another round-shaped disc for sharpening and springs in a ziploc bag. No blade was included. A booklet for instructions/parts was in the box as well. There shouldn’t be a need to change the blade right away. The round-shaped disc between the handle and blade is used to sharpen the blade as needed. I cut through several layers of fabric to make mask when I first used the cutter with success. Notify the company you were missing the stated tools and replacement parts.

Answer:	I don’t think you’ll have to replace the blade very often. The cutter has a sharpening stone attached, which is wry easy and effective to use. It looks like a standard blade. I don’t know if you have to buy a “special blade”, but you can buy the Rototech blades from Amazon. I’ve been very happy with mine. It does a great job.

Cleaning the GO! Big Electric Fabric Cutter is a breeze! To clean the cutter inside and out, use a soft dry cloth. Avoid abrasives, solvents and any spray cleaners. If necessary, wipe with a very damp cloth, then polish the machine with a dry cloth. Use canned air to clear lint from the roller area. For best results and easy use, it’s important to always keep your cutter clean and lint free.

Place

Cutting fabric has never been easier! Our GO! Big Electric Fabric Cutter Starter Set can accurately cut up to six layers of fabric at one time while maintaining maximum efficiency. To get started, layer the die, fabric and cutting mat together. To ensure you produce the most accurate cuts during your next project, be sure the die is layered foam side up and the fabric is placed on the lengthwise grain. Our two-tone foam makes aligning the fabric over your desired shape not only easy, but it also allows you to conserve fabric.

Press

Once your fabric is properly aligned, push the die, fabric and mat firmly along the roller and roll the fabric through the cutter. In order to conserve your favorite fabric, cover only the shape that needs to be cut and not the entire die board.

Done!

Once your fabric has been pushed through the roller, remove the mat and enjoy your new shapes. Repeat the process as many times as needed to complete your latest masterpiece! Answer:	no it wont even cut light canvas.

Question:	can you cut following lines precisely ? Is it heavy on the hand
Answer:	I use the cutter for cutting straight lines and I have a guide. I haven't tried to cut circles. I use it to cut quilt batting and it works awesome.
Question:	Can you use a guide (ruler type) with it so you cut extremely straight strips
Answer:	My didn't bring a ruler type but it will be a great idea.

Answer:	Use this on individual plies of poly cotton and 100% Poly fabric, so if its not thick you can cut it... hope this helps
