Answer:	I doubt you find a replacement pump for it. The cheapest solution is a new fountain, sadly. I read other reviews of the item and learned that the electronics are subject to frequent failures and that the fountain just stops working. Mine still works but I can't get the blue light on as it always switches to red, regardless of water levels. Personally, I will try a different fountain when this one breaks. My cats love but the fountain, it looks great and makes a very nice sound of gurgling water, but the filters are way too expensive and the life expectancy of the pump/electronics is too short.

Answer:	As taken from my fountain manual: "Flashing green light: the filter needs to be replaced. Press the O for 5 seconds after replacement, the orange light goes out after the beep prompt sound is heard. The reset is successful and the timing of filter will be reset." From the diagram it looks like the O is on the backside of the fountain where you plug things in. Did you try resetting the filter timer? If not, maybe that is the quick and easy fix! Otherwise, I don't know what it could be.

Answer:	It's also heavy enough full of water that a cat such as that one won't be able to move it. It also comes with a small pad as pictured that has very good friction. I have a cat that's either a Savannah or from a Lynx line. I think I've seen it called a Desert Lynx. Either way, he's large, strong, very curious, and obsessed at time with moving the water fountain whether playing or ticked he isn't getting more food. I've had not problems with this fountain and doing that. Also, it's tall enough that he drinks from it comfortably. He's a tall cat and like the even tall fountain on my other one so I'm glad this worked out.

Question:	Do you have to disassemble this to refill it or do you pour water into the top and it drains into the reservoir
Answer:	I tend to add water at the top as my dog drinks out of it also and depletes the water supply. However I do take it apart and clean it every week which is very easy and then I fill it up at that time. It only takes a few minutes to take it apart , clean it, fill it and put it back together. If your pump has seemingly stopped working in a short period of time, it may just simply need to be lubricated. To do this, disassemble the pump (like you would for your normal weekly cleanings), and thoroughly wash and dry all three parts. Next, place a drop of edible oil (such as olive or vegetable) on the motor pin. Finally, reassemble the pump, reassemble the fountain, add water, and you should be good to go! Answer:	I have another Drinkwell model and when it is noisy as described, it means that the lever on the filter is not set low enough (should be around 2:00 setting — keep inching it towards 3:00 until the noise stops, but never should be as low as the full 3:00 position) OR there’s not enough water in the bowl for the filter engine to run smoothly. But the filter is being ruined if you’re getting that loud noise, so you need to fix one or both of the two things above or turn it off. Operation should be quiet!

Remove the blue faceplate by using your finger to pull on the small tab on the side.

Answer:	Oh, boo. We spent $100 for the Pagoda, and now they've redesigned the filters? I greatly regret that I have no recommendations, especially inasmuch as we're in the same pickle as you. Here's hoping that someone else will know of an effective fix.
Question:	Why is the water slimy while using these? What has changed from the original product as it didn’t previously create slime
Answer:	Unsure what the problem with these filters are; whenever the porcelain on the fountain starts to feel slimy (I've never had slimy water.... it's hard to wrap my mind around how water could be truly slimy), it's time to change the filter, take the entire fountain apart, and scrub everything except the pump in very warm soapy water. One piece of equipment that helps to thoroughly clean the fountain parts in the very warm soapy water is either a baby bottle brush you can get at your local big box store, or PetSafe (same company that sells the pet fountains) sells a set of 3 brushes that are specifically designed to clean their fountains. The bristles fit perfectly into all the nooks and crannies to scrub away any sliminess. Also, if your fountain has one of the white filters that goes around the pump, rinse that out (no soap) each time and change it anytime it's hard to clean out all the pet fur or specks of dirt. In the winter (I live in a place where it gets really cold in the winter), I likely need to clean the fountain and change the filters about once per month. In summer, when the weather (and our house) tends to be much warmer, I likely have to scrub the fountain and change the filter every 2-3 weeks. It's such a great product and wonderful for your pet(s) to have fresh moving water to drink, I hope it all works out for you!

Answer:	The picture of it shows 5V × 150mA. That's 750 mW. If the USB adapter is 70% efficient, that's still just over 1 watt, and it'll take over a month to go through 1 kWh which is how your electric utility bills you. You can always find a better (more efficient) USB power adapter if the one it comes with is less-than-great.
Question:	Received this on July 27, 2020 and thus weekend the wall plug in started smoking and was burning hot to thr touch..how do we get this replaced
Answer:	I sent back my first unit because the pump didn't work, had no issues with getting an entirely new replacement fountain and it works perfectly.

Question:	How often do you need to change these pre-filters for the stainless steel 360 fountain
Answer:	I change my charcoal filter about every six weeks and the foam filter every other time, but I put the foam filter in one of the silverware baskets of my dishwasher and wash them. I figure that the very caustic dish washer soap (with clorine) that I use will sterilize anything. My cat has not sufferd any ill affects. Maybe if you had several animals using the fountain, you would want to change them more often.

Answer:	I had to buy one from Chewy.com. Never heard back from the manufacturer or Amazon. "Buyer be ware"
Question:	Has anyone experienced black specs in the water? I just got mine and thought I rinsed the charcoal filter but I still have specs of debris
Answer:	It's charcoal from the filter because it's brand new. Every new filter will have a small amount of charcoal particles that are tiny enough to fit through the fiber outer covering of the filter. They will disappear after the fountain is used and emptied a couple of times. They also some to the bottom of the bowl because they are denser than water, but they aren't dangerous if ingested. Infact, activated charcoal in much larger quantities is what is given orally to pets and people if a toxic substance or poison is ingested. It bonds with certain toxins and poisons so that they are not absorbed by the body and pass safely in the stool.
Question:	How difficult is this to clean? Anyone had mold build-up issues
Answer:	I returned it because it was too difficult to clean. I knew that there would a lot of cleaning maintenance to keep it mold-free, and I was prepared for that. However, you can only unplug this at the outlet. There's no disconnect at the bowl itself. And cord for the pump comes up through the bowl, so you need to bring the cord with the bowl to the sink. So, to clean it, we had to un-snake the electrical cord from behind the coffee maker, the toaster and the cutting boards and then re-snake the electrical cord after cleaning. If you have an outlet near your sink (or less clutter in your kitchen), this probably wouldn't be such an issue, but for us the inability to easily bring it to the sink was deal-breaker.
Question:	Is this BPA free
Answer:	According to the box, it said the fountain is made from "FDA Food Grade" plastic, and yes, BPA free. Hope that helps. It's a quiet fountain and has a pretty big capacity. Runs better than several we have tried. On the downside, the spout being right in the center means some of my not-so-bright rescue kitties will lap from the bowl while water flows on to their heads!! Would have been better if the spout was to one side.

How to clean your pump...

For the longevity of your fountain pump cleaning is essential. Please do the following 1-3 times per month depending on number of animals using the fountain.

1. Unplug.

2. Disassemble and rinse impeller under water.

3. Clear any hair or debris inside pump away.

4. Place impeller back in and spin a few times to set alignment.

5. Reassemble.

Question:	Ours gets slimy every few days. Filtered water from the fridge and runs constantly. What gives
Answer:	Don't use distilled water!!! I did some research and found this: Do not use distilled water as distilled water is acidic and could lower your cat’s urine pH below 6 which could cause stones or crystals. Reverse osmosis or alkaline water should likewise be avoided. The use of pH modified water should only be considered when your cat’s urine pH is outside of the 6.5 pH norm and should be done under veterinary supervision.
