I did this and it's exactly the same thing. but.. 2. test your USB adapter that goes into the wall. I got the new pump and then discovered it wasn't the pump, it was the power adapter. Despite always having regularly cleaned it and having fresh filters in it constantly, I was not advised anywhere in the instructions, nor had I even thought of cleaning out the water pump. That was, until when I had dismantled it to clean one day, I just so happen to notice that there was a thick, coats of grime and what appeared to be acid buildup from the battery that supplied energy to the pump apparatus. I couldn't believe my eyes when I first saw it. But then when I took it apart with a screwdriver just so that I could clean it out and take a better look at it, I nearly threw up. The pump which is about 2" x 2", had about 3 in.² of God knows what growing inside of it. It resembled a brownish petroleum jelly, and I had to scrub it out with a toxic degreaser, which I did for about 25 minutes before just throwing it away. A few weeks later I bought a brand-new machine altogether, and he drink out of it for about three days and then gave it up. So to answer your question, no I don't. As I said, mine loved it. But if you do get one, just please take into account what I said and even though the pump may not look dirty, regularly clean it out and look inside of the vents of the pump to see is anything has "grown" within it. I felt so horrible for making him drink out of what probably tasted like used toilet water, that I babied him for weeks; that is, after paying $300 to the vet to get him healthy again. Be careful. |

These are very sturdy blades, and unless you ran over the tool with your car, I don't know how you could accidentally damage them. And if someone managed to bend a blade, you can probably get it back where it belongs with needle nose pliers. Just guessing, of course. I don't see the blades ever getting damaged in normal use; they're way tougher than a pet's ability to resist having fur pulled out that hard! In fact, I prefer this brand to another one I own because it's narrower and therefore doesn't pull as much hair. Hope that helps. |

The Foam/Carbon Filter removes debris from the water and absorbs impurities in the water. The Catit Water Softening Filters does this too, but in addition also removes magnesium and calcium from the water to reduce the risk of lower urinary tract diseases. It recommends changing the filter every three weeks , but I clean the container monthly(it kind of gets a slimy feel on the plastic when it's time to clean. You can remove the filter and simply rinse off and debris and then just put it back in and start with clean water and you are ready to go. I have used the same filter for a couple of months, changing the water and rinsing the filter as needed. |

One note: If the pump is not working and the adapter part is ok, trying running a strong vinegar solution through the fountain for several hours first. Often all that is wrong is mineral build up. |

| Answer: | Have you looked at a hobby/craft supply store? Or the pump manufacturer? Not sure where else you could find them. Just a note: vinegar will destroy the wires inside the pump too so I don't use that to clean the fountain. I use just a little liquid dish soap and rinse very well. Has worked great so far! | Answer: | Yeah this worked for me. It comes with a blue rocker and I wanted an orange one so I just purchased that separately. I don't like the fact that the wiring schematic is correct but it leaves the back light on the switch on even when the vehicle is off and make sure you run the wiring right or you can burn up smaller gauge wires when tapping a 12v power source. Short answer.....YES it will work but you have to purchase the switch and color separately of you want it different than blue "light bar" |

| Answer: | Yes, but there must be a technique on how to use it. I have a shih-poo. My dog's matting seemed to get worse or undercoat was too much of a mess by the time I bought this. It's a very sturdy brush for the price. Best thing is to ask a groomer how to use it. We shave our pup, but in between hair cuts this may help. The instructions are vague, I prefer visual instructions so I don't pull my dog's fur. Currently he has a very short fur cut. |
