Answer:	It is not weighted. My cats haven't been able to flip it due to the soft rubber grip/ring around the base (it's floppy and makes the treat holder hard to tilt from the bottom), but a determined cat might be able to separate them.

Answer:	Depends on how smart your cat is. One of my cats eats from it all the time...she also steals things from drawers that aren't fully shut... she has lots of paw control, like little hands. My other cat isn't so dainty. he likes to get food out of stuff he can hit.

Answer:	Your cat should be able to use the feeder. With a declawed cat you have to imagine having up to the first knuckle cut off of each of your fingers. You would still be able to use your hand & fingers, just not at 100% efficiency.
Question:	Has anyone's cat not understood how to get the treats out? My cat just tries to stick her face into each tube and then gives up
Answer:	My cat tried to do that at first too. I put my fingers in the tubes and moved the food out to show him how I could pull out the food. I also put his paws in the tubes so he could feel the food. I also made sure I didn't put food in any other dishes - just in the tubes in this toy - so he'd have to figure it out. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Yes. My 5lb chihuahua loves this puzzle. The pieces are lightweight to open and slide. Her biggest challenge is the white center caps, but only mentally challenging. She has to nudge it up with her nose then pulls it out with her paw. It does take a little while for her to get them so I only use 2 of the white caps. If I want to keep her occupied longer I can use all 4.

They are not meant to be left alone, unsupervised, with these puzzles. They are not meant to be chew toys. I have every one of these games, and they have lasted YEARS. They will not last if left unsupervised with aggressive chewers or puppies. With creativity, you can continue to make these more challenging by wrapping them in blankets putting them up on a stepstool, setting them in a box, just for a few examples. Answer:	It’s plastic. Also very durable. I have an 80 lb American bulldog. He likes to lift the flaps, grab a hold of the flaps, and “throw” the game to the side. He learned most treats fall out that way. Lazy cheater. Regardless, the game is still fully in tact, and flaps easily pop back on. Some of the white bone middle covers have been chewed on, and still fit perfectly for intended use.

Question:	How to you take it apart if it becomes full of ants
Answer:	We had a similar issue (not ants, but crumbs, and it made me cringe). We called the manufacturer and got one rep who was clueless, and another who said they don't come apart but for the small hole at the top. So we mixed dawn, vinegar, and water, and used pipe cleaners. We'd shake it, rotate the top to make the feed holes bigger or smaller, and continue to shake, and detail the spaces we could reach with a pipe cleaner.Then we ran it through the dishwasher with a 'sanitary' cycle.They looked (and smelled) like new.I hope this helps!

Answer:	I absolutely love these for my fat cat Samson! We use Kirkland brand from Costco. It's perfect for the small setting and doesn't feed too much even at the biggest setting. It's grain free also ...makes for some healthy kitties.

Answer:	the holes are oval: 1 inch long x 0.5 inch wide. there are 3 of them. you turn the top of the egg to make the halves of the egg overlap to make smaller holes. one position, for example, yields 2 of the large ovals (1 in x 0.5 in). another position yields 3 smaller ovals: 0.75 inch x 0.5 inch, etc. hope this helps. BTW, the egg is sturdy and well made. I think I read that it's dish washer safe. Pat :-)

Answer: In order to keep the cat interested in this toy, the product program is set to work 10 minutes every 1.5 hours. It means that the toy will work for 10 minutes, then automatically shut down, and reopen every 1.5 hour. When the owner is not at home, It can interact with your cat appropriately.

Answer:	If you are using dry food, with the cat watching, stick your finger in and flick some pieces out. That's how my cats do this and it does cause them to eat slower which is the purpose.

Answer:	Yes this may be used for play. Always supervise your pets while at play.
Question:	Will temptations various treats work in these
Answer:	Yes! Temptations treats work well with these feeders. My big Maine Coons had trouble getting their mouths into the depressions, but solved this by scooping the treats out of the depressions with their paws. Temptations treats can also be dropped through the holes in the raised knobs for maximum difficulty thus requiring them to move the leaf, slide the knob over the depression, so the treats drop into it, and then slide the knob off of the depression to expose the treats. Some cats may get frustrated if you don't work them up to this gradually as the maker suggests. My cats were already accustomed to scooping food out of a Catit slow feeder with their paws, which may have made have made it easier for them to adapt.
Question:	Does anyone have the green feeder? How deep is it? I’m worried the ridges are too deep for my cat to reach the food
Answer:	My cats will not eat the food at the bottom and they will not use their paws. I would only get this if your cat uses their paws to get at things. The ridges are very hard.

Answer:	it's actually pretty loud to be honest, but my cat is playing with it right now and absolutely loves it!! We've had it for a while too and she hasn't gotten bored of it yet. Definitely not something you want to keep in bedroom overnight haha! Also, it only stays on for 8 minutes so I often have to turn it back on for her. Anyway- I would still purchase it if your cat needs some more stiumulation

Answer:	It’s plastic. Also very durable. I have an 80 lb American bulldog. He likes to lift the flaps, grab a hold of the flaps, and “throw” the game to the side. He learned most treats fall out that way. Lazy cheater. Regardless, the game is still fully in tact, and flaps easily pop back on. Some of the white bone middle covers have been chewed on, and still fit perfectly for intended use.
