One note though, although the bottom is permanently rubberized, once put in the dishwasher a few times the rubber is not longer very pliable. Therefore they slide around on the porcelain tile floor we have in the general space of our house we built (mostly for dogs!). When new, and before running in the dishwasher however, the "ribbed" rubber bottoms were great for reducing sliding around. Our Labs scoot it all over the place now! Best product we've found anywhere though. |

Anything in the 300s can surface rust, but can be removed with a stiff scrubby. 1810 which is what most good silverware is made of will not rust. Anything in the 2100s which is surgical stainless steel will never rust. If these bowls are getting more than surface rust they are most likely electroplated steel. |
