Question:	Can it be mounted directly over an electrical outlet and plugged into that outlet
Answer:	It would have to be mounted with spacers on the back of it at each screw hole mounting area, with a long enough screw or bolt to make it all the way through. You need the spacers to allow for clearance to plug the cord into the outlet.I would think 3-4 inches would give you enough room. Use the mounting holes on the unit, at least one at each corner for a solid mount. ...You could use a short cut piece of 2x4 wood on each side. mount the unit to the wood 2x4 with four short screws, than mount a few 1 or 2 inch metal "L" brackets to the 2x4 to the wall.
Question:	would this be safe in a chicken coop with wood shavings on the floor
Answer:	The directions clearly say no bedding - specifically shavings and straw.
Question:	Looking for a safe outside heater for a 3 dog doghouse. occasionally under 32 degrees, n ca. what do u suggest
Answer:	This worked perfectly for me. I built a large bi-level structure to house my outdoor ferals. I often have five or six cats inside at the same time. The house is approximately 3' x 3' x 2.5' high, and it has 2-inch rigid insulation all around, top and bottom. One unit keeps the house at a steady 72 to 76 degrees (depending on outside temp). I have an independent remote thermometer inside monitoring the temps. I've had it running a year now, with temps in the winter down to 20 degrees, with no issues (I'm in Atlanta, so it's not sub-freezing often).

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Install your Hound Heater in 5 easy steps!

1. Drill a hole through the wall of the house.
2. Feed the cord through the hole.
3. Mount the Hound Heater on a vertical wall of your pet house. Do not mount on ceiling or floor. Place heater as high as possible with a minimum of 3 inches from the ceiling.
4. Set the thermostat.
5. Plug it in! If you are using an extension cord, it must be a 3 wire, 18 gauge (outdoor rated) grounded plug cord.

To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, and turn off power to heater circuit at main disconnect panel and remove plug from outlet.

Answer:	You can put it on either side. I have 2 of these crates and built them according to wall placement. The only thing that matters is which way you want the hinge to open. If you put it on the right of the thin side door it will open to the non door thin side. If you put it on the left it will open to the door on the thin side.

Answer:	The box for my xxl double door crate reads 54Lx37Wx45H so yes I think the crate description that you're considering has a type-o. Size-wise mine works well for a 190# goofball Dane or both the 60# decorative landscape rock Pit & 90# back-talking Wemareiner together with lounge room. Crate takes up a lot of space in my home but worth it so no one gets on the couch for "sorority girl pillow fight" in my absence! Not sure what size/type dog you are considering it for, but I recently purchased a 2nd Midwest crate to go with the 1 I got from a Dane rescue years ago; really liked the size & construction. Not an easily moveable crate obviously due to size so plan to keep it where you 1st place it unless you have help to take it down-- not going through most house doors assembled. I ordered crate wheels as well but have not put them on yet so will see if they make cleaning around & under simpler; just something else to consider depending on what type of floor surface your crate may be resting on. Answer:	Hi Debbie. The answer is yes. Mine has been plugged in for 3 years now and I did not see any appreciable increase in my electric bill the first few months I used it. (I have an extra on stand-by when this one finally gives out) Also, when the pet is not on the mat the temperature decreases to very low only to be increased to 102 or so degrees with the pressure of the pet when it returns. This is the best and my outside kitties have spent many freezing nights in their warm box with the mat on which to sleep. Initially these were feral cats which allowed me to care for them from a safe distance. Loved the opportunity to domesticate them. And I also had a mat for my inside kitty as well who loved her bed just as much as the outside critters. I think this was the best purchase I've made for a pet. Wish I'd known about it when my other kitties were still alive. I'm sure a pup would appreciate this mat as well as any older animal. Can't praise this product enough!

The closer you get the higher the temperature, so 6 inches away might be 85 degrees, 9 inches away might be 65, etc.) But no, there is no manual adjustment or switch. Answer:	I'm not an electrician, but in your situation, all the power is coming from the main service panel. You should consult with an electrician to calculate your maximum load. I've had no issues with my Eco 24 running 3-40 amp breakers off a 200 amp service panel. If you have a heat pump you could be pushing the limit at certain times. Be safe, consult an electrician.
Question:	will this work to fill up small jacuzzi

Question:	Does this work when temperatures drop to below freezing
Answer:	When it freezes below about 20 you have to drain it to protect the coils. That said, you may start the water and fire it up when it is below freezing, just remember to drain it once it cools off.... Our unit works on a single handle application, it just has to be set at a lower temp.
Question:	Can this unit be exposed to weather
Answer:	yes....just dont let it freeze...great unit....i use it off grid so battery ignition is great.....20 min hot water at a time just let it rest for 5 and its ready to go again
Question:	How long does a 20 gallon propane tank last with this unit
Answer:	it's hard to say... depending on usage but I have also used the smaller unit L5.... I found it was just about as fast.... maybe not as hot in colder season but much more efficient on propane. I used the L5 more than than my new L10 and had a month of use.... doing dishes washing up and showers for one person (month of October in the Canadian Maritimes) out of a 5 lb tank.... I was thrilled... I changed to L10 because I foolishly let the L5 freeze and cracked some parts (which I intend to fix) but L5 were back ordered and I needed a unit quickly... love the L10 but it's using more propane... hope it helps
Question:	Is it possible to mount this product on outside of travel trailer? If so, what precautionary steps should be taken
Answer:	I wouldn't: you can, however, mount it to a fixture that can be secured to a stand. (meaning, it's easy to steal) I don't believe that it was designed to be mounted to a travel trailer, though you can always contact the manufacturer, and ask them.

Answer:	Yes, The Marey gas tankless water heaters are rated up to 6,000 ft elevation. Please be aware as with any gas appliance you will loose 4% of your heat for every 1,000 ft in elevation. Answer:	I have one I use a 1/2 hose at the I also use in my RV camper so I hooked it up to the 3/8 with the. Water from my camper it works ok off the 12v pump

Answer:	Hello. Yes, you can use a hose instead of a shower hose and head. Just note that a showerhead water flow rate is about 1.5 GPM. This unit heats water by 32°F at a flow rate of 1.5 GPM (and a proportionately lower temperature rise with a higher flow rate, and higher temp. rise with lower flow rate). All tankless water heaters operate on the same principle. Therefore, if you use a hose that has a higher GPM water flow rate, then your temperature rise will be lower. Answer:	No it doesn’t fit the iPhone 11 max pro in the back zippier nor the front Pouch but where radio would go I tightened bungee cord and place my iPhone there and fastened Velcro strap on it, just make sure it’s really snug so your phone doesn’t drop. I use this chest rig mostly for night runs but there is better ones will hold your phone more securely in my opinion.

Question:	This vs. The triangular Shaped house/Tent looking house? Which provides more heat during the winter days and nights
Answer:	The Heated K&H Outdoor Kitty House would be the more sturdy of the two and provide sufficient heat. It has an excellent thick heating pad you put inside which is very cushionyyy. I took off the plastic on both sides since the movement of the plastic seemed to scare the feral cats away. Heating pad is warm for them and works with the heat of their own bodies. Keep this out of the rain and wind. Garage would be perfect if for a feral cat, otherwise place it where it wont get wet and battered by wind and where dogs cant get to the cats. I bought this for our feral cat we have had since a kitten when her mother put her up on our wall and left her there. We took her in and kept her in our garage and she has always remained very warm, and that was 2 years ago. She roams the neighborhood but always comes back at night for food and her house.
Question:	Why can't you use this with a commercial extension cord? This would almost be a must for most cases (no one usually has a plug near by
Answer:	I have two of these houses plus a home made one in the front of my house under my eaves...Unfortunately, I don't have an outdoor plug nearby so I bought a heavy duty outdoor extension plug with a three plug coupler and plugged the three in, ran the extension cord under the eaves of my house up off the ground and into my garage...plug connections are covered to avoid getting wet and this is the third year I've used them without incident

Answer:	This is very late, I realize since the question was asked 4 years + ago, but I just have to add - if you have senior cats and it gets cold where you live? Please bring them inside. *Before anyone yells at me, I do know that some kitties refuse to come in a house. I have cared for feral cats and cats that are fully socialized with humans & I know they each have a unique personality complete with "quirks" - in which case this house could be awesome! We always just have a box with a towel and sometimes a heating pad with a timer for the ones who won't come in. But if at all possible,bring those kitties in :)

Answer:	I have 3 k&h heated cat houses of which I’ve run for almost 6 mos a year, for 3 yrs now. I am an electrician. As long as it is plugged in it is using power. The power these use are so minimal, they’re not much different than running 4-5 LED lights. No extra money at all. I am retired, now. I’d be screaming at the cats, “quit going in & out those doors, you little punks.”
