Track connectors are not precisely cut and the quality seemed to vary from piece to piece, hence a few pieces did not fit well with Thomas the Train. I just threw the pieces away that where too hard for small kids (2-4 year olds) to work. That being said, the overall number of pieces to expand a basic set and the price make it worth buying. My grandkids don't know the difference and don't care between these track pieces and the real thing. The 100 pieces is more than they ever use even on their busiest day and has ended complaints about needing more track pieces. |

| Answer: | I have washed the round pillow insert on the gentle cycle in the washing machine a number of times and it has come through fine, although the deep brown has faded a bit. I would not wash the stretch formed shell that goes over the base in the washing machine, although I think it would be fine to hand wash, and drip dry. I have just periodically vacuumed the shell with a vacuum hose & brush attachment, and spot cleaned as needed. |

| Answer: | I read all the previous answers and my measurements were the same as TJ's and Gypsy Dancer. I do have one thing to add. Turn the cat bed over, you will see a lip around the botter (similar to a fitted sheet), that goes around the upper platform so the bed is steady. One of my cats likes to lay on the upper platform without the bed. The other one lays in the bed near the window and watches the world go by. I hope between all the answers submitted you now have all the information that you needed. |

| Question: | Any advice on getting the cat to actually use it? He keeps still sitting on the couch. Only been a couple days but when I put him on he just jumps off |
| Answer: | At first, my three cats used the scratching posts a lot but ignored the hammock. I sprayed a bit a catnip spray on the top and bottom of the hammock and left the room. I came back later and one cat was snuggled in the hammock. I used the spray only once, but that enticed the cat to figure out how to get in. I’d say the hammock can be a bit tricky to get into and out of – tricky and undignified. One of my cats really, really loves the hammock, but I have to smile when I see him wiggle and squirm to uncurl and get out of it. I’ve never seen him get into it, but he spends a few hours in it every day. Maybe try setting the hammock on the floor right next to the couch so your cat could just step into the hammock instead of having to figure out how to jump or climb into it? If that works and he gets comfy in the hammock, maybe you can move it to where you want it to be. Good luck! |

| Answer: | Unsure about the Zen component, but its pretty sturdy. My cat used it for a long time before we had to get rid of her. Id think you'd be good to go. Its not a piece of cardboard. Its got decent weight to it too! |

| Answer: | If you mean the crinkle paper, I think it was to be a stimulant. I cut it out when the kitten got older and less interested by it. |
