Answer:	Whilst I think it's a sturdy enough chain for using for pendants, and so forth, I think it's not quite large enough to serve for the purpose you suggest. It would be a little thin for that. I'd go for something with larger links, although then the chain might be harder to cut!

Answer:	22" deep x 36" wide and 47" tall are the inside measurements of the cage itself. Measuring from the floor to the cage is 13 inches. This is a really nice cage. I plan ongetting 2 more to replace 2 other cages I had bought at a bird fair that don't have nearly as many doors.
Question:	can an african grey fit in it
Answer:	No. For an African grey you need a thick wire Gage with stronger for locks. Africans beaks are very strong. They could snap these wires like a twig.
Question:	How much of the 53 inch heighth is cage only
Answer:	Don't know where you got the 53" height from. This is the Prevue Hendryx F050 model your question is posted under and it's total height is 60" with the cage itself being 48"H x 37"W x 25" D (front to back); and that leaves 12" for the stand itself with the stand's storage shelf being about 6" above the floor. Very solid and very roomy. I purchased it at $181 and even at the current price I feel it is still a good deal for the asking price. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I got 4 of these cages as temporary cages for traveling in our motorhome. They are literally such bad quality that I had to zip tie all of them to keep them from coming apart. Zip ties in about 8 places. It is extremely thin, flimsy, and bendable, and given the quality of my 4 I’m not surprised. I was shocked at all the good reviews. I know quality with bird cages, and these are honestly crap.

If he were not let out to play on top alot he would be very unhappy with the size. And the fact he is down lower, (when inside), because of the playground on top. I am 5' 3" tall and the the living space for the Bird comes just under my chin. I have a Moluccan Cockatoo,(Dunde), in a cage twice the size as this one and much more well built. ....don't get me wrong this is a nice cage but not sure it could withstand a Large Cockatto! My Blue & Gold Macaw ,(Jesse), is in an even larger cage than Dundee....but the main thing to me is the strength of the Cage for any Bird of that size. Hope this helps a bit ! Cassandra

Answer:	Yes, it’s big enough. I wish I had not bought the cage though. It’s not square and doesn’t line up right. Also, the doors are too easy for an intelligent parrot like a Macaw to open by itself and the parrot could be injured by getting its head out of the cage.
