Answer:	Nope. You just unlatch the base from the top and clean. I use sheets, almost like sandpaper. Just remove and toss. There's a rack on top so they can't get the paper.

Question:	Would this be a good cage for two cockatiels? They will be coming from the same clutch
Answer:	No it is not a very safe birdcage for Parakeets because it comes apart way too easily and the Parakeets can very easily escape. My female Parakeet escaped the very first day I put her in it and it came apart on me too. So I had no other choice, but to throw the birdcage away and buy them another birdcage through Petsmart. I don't recommend this birdcage at all. Please don't buy it. Cause you'd just be wasting your hard earned money like I did.

Answer:	I would say yes. Ours is rectangular but about 5 foot tall. The only difference is the flaps and Velcro won’t line up correctly but that is no problem. The material is just right for airflow and light restriction. Well made too. I would say you would be fine.

We leave a small fan blowing outside the cage and the air circulates three the cover. They will not suffocate. It stops enough light to make them feel safe and secure. It is easy to hose off or put in the washer. Great product and easy to use. Go for it, you will like it.

Answer:	I purchased mine to house our Green-cheeked conure. So if the lorikeet is of the same size it should be fine. Our "Rio" has plenty of room in this cage. We put a natural tree branch, hammock, cubbie in it and there is still plenty of room for climbing and hopping from place to place.

Answer:	As I have stated previously I believe this question is better directed to the manufacturer. If you send them an emailthey will send you directions on how to assemble the cage and include the lead question. The cage is quite roomy formy cockatiel who is more than 9 inches. While the cage is 20"w by 20" deep it is 24" tall. I have 3 food dishes and a waterdish as well as sleeping house in this cage and still have plenty of room for toys etc. I have had the cage for a few months now and my bird has his mouth on it every day when he climbs up and down (inside and out) and I have observed no illeffects. Budgies are smaller than cockatiels so two should fit fine.
