Answer:	No, it should not be loose. We use a special nut called a lock nut. Lock nuts reduce loosening especially with situations where there is vibration. You will need to tighten the bolts with tools. You can't do it by hand. You will see the bolt extend through the nylon "lock" that holds it tight.

Answer:	The snow pusher is set up to push in a straight line. The blade is fixed. It works best for me if I shovel at a slight diagonal so I don't leave a "wake" of snow on both sides. It is half as light as Amazon's steel pushers. If I bought again, I would get the 48 inch snow pusher.

Answer:	I had a smaller Manplow, 32" or 36" and it worked well. Gave it to my son and found the 42" to replace it. Plenty big. Live in Colorado so generally light powder and gently sloping driveway so I can push across and off the edge or down the slope. It doesn't take much snow to make it a bit of a chore even with light snow and a 42" blade. It piles up quickly. I think a 48" blade might be too big, if you had more than 4" of snow. Or for that occasional heavier, wet snow. I'd go with the 42" Manplow.

Answer:	The blade is 42 inches wide and 12 inches high, when the handle is attached it is 49 1/2 inches high total from floor to the top of the handle. I have a concrete driveway and it works wonderfully for me. Don't expect to move mountains of snow but it will move the snow.

Answer:	I would contact the seller through the Amazon Returns & Orders menu. Just find the shovel and click the link related to that purchase. The shovel and handle that I received came as 2 separate pieces but in the same huge box. The seller may send you another handle if they have one in their warehouse. I live in a snow-free climate but this shovel is very sturdy and I use it for loading mulch, topsoil etc. The construction is great but the packaging could be improved.

Answer:	I read about a hack for gravel driveways and will try it this season on my tractor blade. Make a cut down a length of PVC, the length of your blade, slide it over the blade. The PVC will keep the edge of the blade from picking up the gravel. I am thinking of buying on of these Snowcasters for smaller jobs and will use PVC over the edge.

Answer:	It does take heavy snow off the roof. The handle extends from 33" - 52" which is long enough for my SUV. The handle on the model I purchased does not fold (not sure if there is a model that does) so you need some space, either in the back of an SUV, trunk, or on the floor to keep it for the winter. It is a wonderful thing though. It pushes the snow off easily and has a large head. I've had it several years and it looks good as new. Doesn't scratch the car. I highly recommend this item.

Answer:	I don’t know if you can. I use it with the 3-piece pole provided. If your broom is the same width and has threads on one end I don’t see why that wouldn’t work.
