Answer:	I don't sell them so I don't know if you can buy it any other way. The wheels can pop out in heavy jobs. I found them and popped them back in. I think the rake works well and has paid for itself with all the snow we have been getting.

Answer:	I do not have solar panels on my roof, and my thought would to let the snow melt by it self, but if I were going to use a snow rake, it would be this one. I found an article on the web that referenced this snow rake for snow removal on solar panels. http://news.cnet.com/8301-11128_3-10156471-54.html If you were to use it you would have to be very, very careful to be sure that the bottom of the blade was lowered so the sharp corners of the rake do not touch the panels. Also, if you received heavy resistance when pulling the rake down, I would stop and lift it off rather than putting extra possible pressure on the panels. Good luck.

Answer:	Elisabeth I purchased this rake some time ago... I would not personally use it on any material softer than a roof... It is made of aluminum with a strong edge. You should be able to modify the rake by putting a some type of plastic type adhesive tape along the edge to protect the cloth material.

Question:	How do the vinyl slides hold up? ...and are the slide replacements readily available
Answer:	17 Inches... you don't want it to wide because this is pretty much to move heavy wet snow. For that it works well. It is not built for chipping or scrapping because they want to keep it light weight for lifting heavy snow. Some people have said they think it is cheaply built in the reviews and I think it was more about keeping the weight down.
Question:	Will this work on solar panels without damaging them
Answer:	There is a metal strip across the bottom that is folded over both sides of the shovel. It clings pretty tightly on cement, but slides easily on asphalt. I love the second handle because I don't have to bend over to pick it up as I have had three back surgeries. The one thing I dislike about it is that second doesn't rotate on the shaft of the main shovel so pitching the snow off isn't as easy as my previous shovel that I wore out. (Can't find one like it or I would have gotten that instead of SnoJo.
Question:	I have de-icer cables installed on my roof - will this work well with those cables or will it catch the cables and yank them off or loosen them

Question:	Do the wheels protect the roof from damage from the metal rake
Answer:	I do not have solar panels on my roof, and my thought would to let the snow melt by it self, but if I were going to use a snow rake, it would be this one. I found an article on the web that referenced this snow rake for snow removal on solar panels. http://news.cnet.com/8301-11128_3-10156471-54.html If you were to use it you would have to be very, very careful to be sure that the bottom of the blade was lowered so the sharp corners of the rake do not touch the panels. Also, if you received heavy resistance when pulling the rake down, I would stop and lift it off rather than putting extra possible pressure on the panels. Good luck.
Question:	Can this be used on roof mounted solar panels
Answer:	Elisabeth I purchased this rake some time ago... I would not personally use it on any material softer than a roof... It is made of aluminum with a strong edge. You should be able to modify the rake by putting a some type of plastic type adhesive tape along the edge to protect the cloth material.

Answer:	haven,t had to get any yet, good question. but I,d look at web site and ask manufacture location. pretty sturdy so far.
Question:	Can this be used to push snow off the roof from a higher floor window, or is it only for pulling snow off
Answer:	Mine has small plastic wheels on each side --- usually there is enough snow that the wheels ride on top of some snow so it shouldn't do any scratching BUT a lot of that depends on the paint quality also. I do have a shingle roof but like I said it should have a "snow cushion" that the wheels ride on. The rake itself is not that heavy.

Answer:	I am not sure I can answer the "offset left or right" component of your question...but I suppose you could use it from on a ladder if the ladder is properly secured or manned by someone at the base. It all depends on how heavy or compacted your snow is. If it's heavy or compacted it may not be safe to do that because it requires a bit of force to push it up under the snow --I found it really easy to use from the ground with all the extensions in place. I have not used it from atop a ladder.

Answer:	It certainly should. The purpose is for snow removal so I don't think it matters if your roof is flat or pitched.
