Answer:	I have a 15' round, 54" deep above ground pool that I bought from a local pool store. They installed it s well. I was given a 1HP pump by Waterway. I never had any problem with sand being blown into the pool, and though there was some rotation in the pool, it was far from a whirlpool. It kept the leaves & debris in the center of the pool, which made it easier to clean. That was 6 years ago, & my Waterway just died. I just replaced it with this pump. It's supposed to be arriving Tuesday, so I can't comment on any differences. I can tell you that the pool company gave me a TWM 19 diameter sand filter, & it's been just fine for us. Answer:	The skimmer comes with a butterfly gasket. It provides the gasket for both inside and outside of the pool and also helps keep chlorinated water from contacting (and rusting) the pool wall. Butterfly = think of two gaskets which are joined at the outer edge and therefore capable of being slipped over the square pool opening; kind-of-like your index and middle fingers which meet at the bottom. It works well.
Question:	Will the hose connections fit the intex hoses with the threaded nut? Like with the Intex 56671EG 2,650-Gallon Sand Filter Pump
Answer:	David, they do not fit. Intex uses odd sizing so you have to be creative. I hard plumbed my skimmer to my sand filter. On the filter side I reused the nut from the Intex hose but on the skimmer side I glued PVC to the skimmer. I know it is hard to visualize. Check out this website there is a ton of info on there. Answer:	It’s very easy. With water just below the desired level install the skimmer by using a sharp object to punch out the screw holes. Once it is installed and right THEN take a razor blade and cut out the square opening.

Answer:	The Hayward SP15922S pump is a 2 speed pump. People that say otherwise must be talking about some other pump. I have one. It has low and high speed. 86 gpm on high and 43 gpm on low at 20 feet of head.

Answer:	Had difficulty with an air leak at that same location/ re-lubricated the O-ring and the " threads" on the cap and used the pump suction to " seat " the cover prior to locking in position.

Answer:	It should be turned till the discharge is completely horizontal

Answer:	Intex uses proprietary connections, won't work with standard plumbing connections. If you replace the hose with PVC or flex pipe, you can find standard threaded connectors to go on the large intex inlet/outlets that go through the wall of the pool. Get a ball valve or similar to replace the plunger valve that came with the pool and avoid the intex hose altogether. Then you can use standard plumbing fittings for the pump. Or, make an adapter for the intex hose - there isn't anything ready made you can buy. Look on youtube or elsewhere online for directions for replumbing an intex pool.

Answer:	You must be talking about the cage/filter going into the pump... It is a beast and the lubes do not help as they get sticky over time- (I use Magic Lube too...) I used a 6" piece of 2"x4" lumber that I banged with a hammer into the corner where the "handles" start to bow out. Tap on both of them alternating between the two. Hit it hard but- not too hard and just keep banging. This is the only problem I had with this unit. Now that I have done it, it is not so bad but, I was afraid I was missing something as there should be a better way to get the top to pop... I also relieved the pressure at the top before I started.

Answer:	That is exactly what I purchased this pump for, to replace a cartridge filter. This is a great pump. I hooked it up to my skimmer and also used it to vacuum the bottom of the pool. While vacuuming the bottom you can bypass the filter & discharge the water from the pool to eliminate very fine particles.

Question:	Why does Wanda keep getting tangled up in her hoses? This is the second year we have used her and she just keeps wrapping herself up
Answer:	I think it should be just fine. It is not a very large pack and I am 5'10 and it fits pretty nicely with maybe 4 inches of clearance. So it might cover your entire back.
Question:	I have acorns that fall in my pool. Just got Wanda and within minutes one single acorn got caught and for the next hour I had to keep pulling her up and removing acorns, why is the whole on the bottoms so tiny?? Any suggestions
Answer:	I don't know how big your boxing gloves are exactly but it fits my punching bag gloves (fingerless). I imagine boxing gloves would fit but not much else would fit with those in the bag.

Answer:	I am sorry it took so long to respond to your question. The dementions are 6" wide, 6 3/4 long, and 3 1/2 high. The number for hayward is 1-800429-9273. They may be able to help you.
Question:	Does the lip/edge of this basket have a notched in area in both sides so that it can be turned into place into the skimmer area
Answer:	I had trouble understanding the whole setup. Having had the old bug before, I found that you can disregard the new attachments and use it like the older one. By this I mean that once you fill the hose and critter with water ( submerged by the water from pump), just put the narrow adapter end of hose into your skimmer and cut back your water flow coming out of pool and into your pump. This is something I had done before and it works with this newer version as well. The bug performs better without the full force of suction I found. Hope this helps !

Answer:	Same thing happened to mine after about 2 weeks & did all troubleshooting techniques & still nothing... waste of money.

Answer:	No, you attach it to the intake line of your existing pump. In my case, I have a skimmer. I plug the vacuum cleaner into the skimmer, and now the vacuum is doing the work
