Answer:	Well, my pool is 21,000 gallons and it works quite well indeed. When I started it for the season last week it raised the pool temp from 63F to 84F in just about 24 hours. I imagine it would work well in your pool. Obviously, it will take longer to heat the additional 15K gallons, but it should work.

Answer:	Your piping depends how long of a run it is. There are formulas to figure it out, I don't know off hand. You can google it.Mine is reduced to 3/4" for about 5 feet. It is 1.25" before that. This heater will heat your pool. Mine is 16x32 about 4 feet deep on average and it heats it overnight from 65-80F.

Answer:	This is the 1st pool heater we have ever had so its hard to say if its overly noisy. It does make noise but nothing that we feel is overwhelming.

Answer:	Yes, there is a propane model. No, it does not run off 20 lb propane tanks. I have a 250 gallon underground propane tank that was installed with the pool and heater. I do not have NG in my neighborhood, so propane was the only option for me. Those that answered this question with sarcastic and frankly insulting comments should be more familiar with the product BEFORE they put their comments online . They are the ones who look stupid not knowing how to answer this simple question.

Answer:	No, it doesn't have any glitter. Whoever said that above clearly has never used this product before. I'm a boy and I use this. It does make my skin glossy though, so you may have to put on some anti-shine/oil control powder afterwards, but I heard that a lot of moisturizers are like that. This is the only one I've ever used!

Answer:	I cannot detect any tint, which disappointed me. On the plus side, it is a sunscreen moisturizer and Neutrogena is a good reliable brand so it's okay but I would look for the lite tint next time.

Answer:	The recommended wire is 8/2 and there is not a limit to distance written in the install directions. You need to check with your electrician. Make sure he is state license and insured. Answer:	There is no specific installation kit. However, we suggest using flexible braided hose connections that screw onto the hot and cold water for the first 18" or so. These connections are easy to remove to check a filter screen or if needed to work on the unit in general. The connections are 3/4" NPT. Answer:	This heater is fairly easy to install if you are a DIY but don't attempt this is you are not a handy man (or woman). I was replacing an older (15 years old) Jandy Heat Pump so I already had the power and plumbing changes were a bit tricky (since this unit installs plumbing from back whereas Jandy installed plumbing from front). I did have my son help me move the unit from my driveway back to the pad (about 50 feet) since it weighs nearly 300 lbs - used a hand-cart/dolly and my son for stability. I also put plywood adjacent to pad temporarily to allow for easier sliding of the unit off the pallet it comes on and onto the pad.
Question:	Can this be used with a sand filter pump without popping the mats from higher water pressure than the stock cartridge filter pumps that are low pressu
Answer:	The 140,000 Btu unit will heat a large pool. Of course a strong wind can take away 50,000 Btu's per day easy. Cover it to retain the most heat.For home use, and because the compressor draws 27 amps, you do not want to purchase a larger heat pump. But you could connect two of them, if the pump flow is sufficient for both units. I would install one, and see how well it works. If you find that it is not warming it enough in the early spring, then a second unit might be required. Chances are that if you run it 24/7 for a week, it will take the pool from 70F to 84F, and you will be happy with one heat pump. Your home wiring might not be large enough to support a pair of these heat pumps, and the cooling system for the house all running at once.Good luck!

Answer:	The heater will work fine. The only thing you may notice is a lower discharge temp coming from the heater. This will be caused by the water moving faster through it. Should heat just fine though.

However because of friction in the pipe that connects to unit to the gas meter must be sized to allow the gas to flow unrestricted to the heater. long runs may require 2" most residential application will do fine with 1-1/2 in supply. Find a LOCAL POOL PLUMBING Contractor to assist you. Gas piping has several unique requirements. ie heat fused couplings, plastic to steel transition fittings, locating trace wire buried with the line and a few other small requirements, like a shut off in the line at the heater, and must be leak tested under pressure. To recap, The higher the BTU the bigger the pipe, the further you go the bigger the pipe. Fun FACT, natural gas is regulated at only 3/4 psi, that's why you can stop it with you thumb.

Answer:	We have had the heater for about 4 months and it works great. Heats the jacuzzi twice as fast as the old heater which is the same model but much older. Love it.
Question:	will this unit replace my m336A hat. gas heater? Saltwater pool
Answer:	Chances are you are in luck. I replaced a LAARS Lite 2 335k BTU Natural Gas heater with the 406k BTU Raypak heater. Connections were essentially the same although I took the opportunity to replumb my system and improve the foundation for the heater. I was pleased to learn by a qualified gas plumber that made the final connections that I did not have to increase the size of gas line feed. As I was unhappy with the metal rot in my old heater, I recently completed a simple roof over the unit to reduce precipitation from the unit, and I elevated the unit a few inches on a concrete foundation. I also addressed drainage to ensure no water sat on the unit, internally or otherwise. The Raypak is conditioned for weather, so this my be overkill, but the investment is significant and I felt the unit should receive best care to last over ten years. All that said, the unit works wonderfully, heats my 30,000 gal in-ground pool quickly, and has reduced the cost of maintaining the pool during normal use season. The controls on the unit are such that the unit heats too the desired temperature, then shuts off. A fireman's switch on the pump shuts the heater down 15 minutes before the pump shuts down, so I could improve the programming significantly over the LAARS unit. Best always, Drew
