Answer:	No this will only detect the levels for a chlorine/ bromine pool water pool.

Answer:	I don’t think these test strips are sensitive enough to detect the amount of chlorine typically in tap water. Unless your tap water has really high chlorine content. These strips won’t detect anything under 1ppm.

Answer:	80-120 is the best range and yes the range shown on the product label is wrong. Most people use these for hot tubs, if you use bromine than even 80 is too low bromine spas should be in the 100-120 range

Question:	Why does my chlorine/bromine square (1st square) turn blue? That's not on the chart
Answer:	Re FCL/Br pad turning blue means you could have a very high level of Chlorine in the water. Usually as it goes up the scale goes from a white color at 0 ppm, to pink to purple them off the scale 10 ppm+ could be a purplish blue color. If you have recently chlorine shocked the water this might be why. As the chlorine/Brominie dissipates this level should return to normal.
Question:	Will these give proper reading for alkaline ph of drinking water from a alkaline water machine

Answer:	This will work but it's my understanding that salt water pools have a much lower chlorine level than chlorinated pools. Answer:	I use the strips for a pool not hot tub. I am not sure if they would be appropriate for a hot tub, I would contact the manufacture.

Answer:	While I have not used it, you can "Create a personal user account at cloroxpool.com" to get an online water analysis. Not sure if this will also give chemical quantities to be added. There is a note on the package that tells the user "if not using online water analysis tool, refer to product labels for dosage instructions". I do this.
Question:	These strips came in a kit i bought but there are no instructions - how do i use these and is there a result chart i can compare to im new to this

Answer:	Please Note : For best results, pH must be between 7.0~8.4.

Answer:	These test strips are for chlorinated pools. Drinking water has a much lower chlorine level, even before filtering. I'd check something for use in an aquarium where the desired level of chlorine is zero

Answer:	If it tests for what you want, then yes. It is necessary to check free chlorine in saltwater chlorinator pools to make sure the saltwater system is doing its job. So these strips will work for that (as well as ph, etc.). But you probably also want to test for salt level which these strips will not do.
Question:	Would this product be effective testing bleach in water? I’m going to a country where water isn’t potable and will add bleach to it in order cook
Answer:	Yes it does! It will detect sodium hypochlorite just like it would chlorine! I don't know what these other people are thinking. Sodium hypochlorite is the active ingredient in Bleach so, yes, it would test for it just fine. I use bleach in my pool.
