Answer:	No, the tablets do not 'blow up' when removed from water. If you're getting a high ppm reading you may be using too many tablets for your pool's size. Our pool is approximately 28,000 gallons, and we use two tablets in a floating container/distributor. We augment the tablets with once-a-week shock. If we have to add water (we live in the Florida Keys), or get a lot of rain we'll adjust the chemicals accordingly. Also, be sure you're running your pump and filter at least 8 hours a day for dispersal of chemicals.

Answer:	Good question: I reviewed several sources and found the answers to be complicated. My opinion is that Granular calcium hypochlorite contains 65 percent of available chlorine. Therefore, if you are currently using sodium hypochlorite (12%), then you can make an equivalent stock solution by mixing 1.5 pounds of granular calcium hypochlorite to each gallon of water in the stock solution tank. Additionally, the cost per unit of chlorine from the calcium hypochlorite seems to be less expensive. It may be a good idea to try each one then test the resultant solution for the amount of available Chlorine.

Answer:	The ant trap creates a moat of water that ants cannot crawl/swim through to get to the feeder...gnats fly so they would still be able to get to the feeder. As an ant barrier, this product works great for my hummingbird feeders and oriole feeder. I have 6 of these traps! Would highly recommend for ants and other crawling bugs. Good luck with the gnats!

Answer:	First is water fresh or been sitting unfiltered? If unfiltered 1/4 bag should be plenty I use 1/2 bag for 40,000 gallon pool with regular chlorine tabs in skimmer. GPS: Go to Settings > Clock > Set time > GPS > Let watch connect to GPS, preferably outside with minimal nearby obstructions, tall buildings, etc. 2. Manually: Go to Settings > Clock > Set time > Manual > Enter date and time Note that depending on where you live, you may want to activate / deactivate the 'Summer time' (daylight saving) function. If this is set incorrectly and the time is set using GPS, the time may be off by an hour. To fix this, go to Settings > Clock > Summer time > Turn on or off as needed.

My skimmer became brittle after about 20 years of use putting 3-4, 3 inch tablets in the skimmer, hardly anything to worry about after 20 years. Also, I get that the chlorine sitting there when the pump is not running can concentrate the chlorine and yes the water does go into your pool filter but the initial corrosive water is not sitting in the filter it gets pumped right back out into the pool and less chlorinated water is coming in behind it. I have had the same pool filter and pumps since my pool was built 25 years ago and have no problems putting 3 inch chlorine tabs in the skimmer basket. I have only replaced the inside of the filter once because some of the sections were ripped, replaced the skimmer basket once after 20 years, and I just had it re-plastered 3 years ago. Like I said before, I'm no expert this is just my experience. Now if someone can tell me how to get rid of the pool.....
