Question:	Are hoses included
Answer:	It came with what you see in the picture and was fully operational when I installed it. It was the panel and turbo cell chlorinator.

Answer:	This chlorinator plugs into a standard, 110Volt GFCI receptacle. (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) The flow sensor should keep it from coming on when your pump is off.

Question:	How will I know how long to runthe each day? Trial and error
Answer:	Install the cell unit in a vertical position preferably on the pressure side of the pump just where the filtered water enters the pool,this way the internal part of the cell will stay full of water and not run dry.However if you mount the cell horizontally,then an air pocket can form during the time the pump is at rest ,and can cause the cell to overheat,therefore a flow control valve needs to be installed just before the the cell (between the cell and the output from the pump) these flow control valves are in fact a large volume check valve and will not let water flow backward away from the cell and will insure the cell stays full of water during pump off time.That said , if all the components in the pump system (pump,filter,cell and associated hosing ) are on a plane and level relative to one another so that during pump shut down water will not 'run down hill or away from the cell then the cell will remain totally full of water even if the cell is mounted horizontally with out a control check valve. My cell is mounted vertically at the pool input port and is about 10 ft from the pump output.The pump and sand filter tank are raised about 8 inches above the ground so that the hosing and all remain full of water even during long periods of pump in activity.

Answer:	I use seventh generation free and clear liquid laundry detergent with these pods for soiled clothing and linens with great success. Does that answer you question? I have chemical sensitivity and am prone to rashes. These products together don't cause any skin irritations. Love them!

Answer:	I don't have septic but according to their website http://www.grabgreenhome.com/bleach-alternative-pods/#tab-faqs it is safe. I really like this product - it does an amazing job and I just through in with light colors - doesn't have to be all whites.

Answer:	Yes, I use it all the time: whites, colors, everything. I don't think it is causing more fading than I would get with a regular wash. I am a horse vet and it seems to be helping to get the clothes clean without bleaching....

Question:	The instruction manual states that you have to use cyanuric acid to stabilize. I'm trying to minimize the harsh chemicals. Do you have to add it
Answer:	Cyanuric acid helps prevent the chlorine from being dissipated by the sun. It can be used without it but the chlorinator will have to work much harder and have have a difficult time keeping up (pool size will impact this). Compared to the harsh chemicals you add when you use traditional chlorine, the Cyanuric Acid is minimal in both quantity and impact - I used a small (1 gallon?) bucket for my 20,000 gallon pool and that was sufficient.
Question:	do you have to use test strips with SolXX SALTRET20A system or does it use timer to control
Answer:	The Saltron Retro uses a timer to produce chlorine based on the amount of hours you set it to run. You will still need to use test strips to know how much chlorine you have in your water and to figure out how long you need to run the Retro in your pool.
Question:	Has anyone ever used this on an Intex pool? I have a 12 x 24 rectangular pool
Answer:	As long as you have between 2500ppm-3000ppm of salt in the pool the Saltron Retro will generate chlorine. It comes with mounting brackets for above ground pools, so mounting should be easy.

Answer:	Every season and it costs around $200 + shipping. Also the power supply fails after two seasons and then needs replacing.

Question:	How does the on/auto/off function work when in auto position
Answer:	It all depends on how many hours you expect these to work. I have used them for 500 hrs before replacement. The velcro can get less sticky but it still works after 500 hrs; I have not found this to be a big issue for myself but others may be more particular. If you want top performance all the time, you will have to replace most of the cycling clothing and components fairly regularly.
Question:	I have a t 9 turbo cell by hayward will it drop right in place of it
Answer:	I purchased medium sized gloves and they fit well. Label inside glove shows medium. I am American and do have small-medium sized hands.

Question:	How do you check the settings to see if the correct cell type is chosen? And how do you change it if it is not correct? Could this cause inaccurate #s
Answer:	To check the cell type on my unit I press the middle button between the left and right arrow (I think it says menu). It will cycle through the options. You use the left and right arrow buttons to select the correct cell type. It can absolutely cause inaccurate #'s and the cell may stop generating salt. I have found that Blue Works support is very good. If this does not solve your problem, if you call them during regular business hours, they are answering the phones even though they were not working last month.
Question:	What benefit does the Smart Chlorinator Program provide
Answer:	It only generates chlorine when the levels are low. Whatever it does we have not had to add any chlorine to our pool despite massive amounts of rain. The level had remained perfect. We have only added salt once and that was because of the amount of rain we had gotten.

Answer:	Depending on your pool model I have just two plunger valves that came with my pool and if you use the plunger valves you do not need adapters looking at my pool there are two different types of plunger valves there is one that is a “T” that the two inlet hoses connect to and one that is just an elbow that is for the outlet the hoses that comes with this pump will connect to those plungers I hope this helps out

Answer:	The minimum flowrate is 15 GPM. Max is not an issue.
Question:	Does the cell need to be installed 6" above return on above ground pool
Answer:	Since this system does not use a flow switch to shut off the cell in the event of no water flow or low water, the instructions from the manufacturer is to place the cell at the normal level of the pool water. If the water level goes below the normal level of the pool, there will not be any water in the cell. In my application, I placed the cell at the normal water level of the pool and I use a variable speed pentair pool pump that runs 24 hrs a day. I have the circupool also run 24-hours a day. If you use a timer for your pump, run the circupool only when the pump is running. This system does not come with a water flow switch. Depending on your electrical abilities, you could purchase a flow switch and with a 220 volt relay and a circuit that activates the relay with the flow switch make a unit to shut off the circupool chlorinator when there is no water flow. This is more complicated then either running 24 hours or using a timer in coordination with the pool pump.
