Answer:	This happens if you have the main speaker near power. Try moving it forward and back from where you have it and left and right. You may here it change and adjust it till it stops. Also ensure your speaker wire is fully clamped in. It’s just interference

Question:	Does this come with cables
Answer:	This speaker comes with a power cable, but audio cables are not included. The speaker has one XLR and one 1/4" TRS connector, so you can purchase whatever cables work with your system.
Question:	How's the bass on this? Is it boomy or muddy
Answer:	Realistically, if you are working with contemporary EDM or any electronic music with sounds below 45Hz, you need a sub. Don't get me wrong, the LSR305s are excellent, clearer than the 308s. For material like Country, the bass is sufficient. Even for Rap and EDM you can adjust and place them just right, and estimate how things will sound on a big club or car system. But pairing the LSR305s with e.g. a LSR310S sub gives you the real thing, though sub placement is SO critical it's another rabbit hole.
Question:	Do these hiss? I sent back lsr305 due to the hissy tweeters
Answer:	Some do. It’s normal. on the ones that do they are extremely quiet. The “hiss” is only audible while the speakers are not in use and is caused by the internal amp. I wouldn’t call it a hiss as much as it is just static noise from the amps unused electricity. If you don’t like that, maybe these aren’t the ones for you. But I will say that most other powered monitors I have used make this exact same noise. With mine mounted on the wall about 2 feet in front of me and 2 feet above me pointed down at my seat I cannot hear the hiss until ~90%+ volume, And again, exclusively when they are not in use. Answer:	grd. loop hum is generated by other hardware, audio/vidio equip. not correctly grounded plugged into the same circuit (as the speakers) within your space. the speakers themselves don't generate any hum, they only pick up the incorrectly grounded equip. hum already there. ground loop issues are not easy to correct but many times they have to do with a 'home theatre / cable/ set top box' set up. one way to eliminate grd. loop hum is to simply plug the speakers into a different circuit on your elect. panel, different from the plug and circuit picking up the hum. the other ways, more difficult, are to isolate the offending piece of equip. and/or correct the grounding issue with the: equip., circuit/panel wiring, overall space/house earth ground.

Answer:	Point #5 correction on the above answer...I just picked up a pair of the mk's on Prime Day, and the manual specs them out at 45 to 45khz, not 40 on the low end as stated above....but whose counting....just saying going by the manual, there is a bit more spread between mk and pro. No matter what the number I just fired up a few tunes for the first time and if you want to test for a low end, a good one to dial up is "Violet" by Seal...let me tell ya...it was all there, and no mud at all!! Very impressed with the mks!

Answer:	Mine came in as the butter cream version. Its a great speaker in any color, but I love the unique cream color too. The finish is so smooth and unlike anything I've seen. I love everything about this piece of gear. At mix time its definitely worth the $ to me.
Question:	Do i go both l and r into a single trs to the mixcube or do i go from any of the two channels but activating the "mono" switch on my daw
Answer:	best bet is to use the mono setting on the DAW. otherwise you would want some sort of summing rather than a direct connect from L+R channels. one way is to get yourself a monitor controller which allows easy switching across your monitors and typically has a mono button so you can check mono on the Avantone and your regular monitors as well.

Answer:	If you want to check your mix in mono, purchase only one. It would be the equivalent of checking your mix through the proverbial old car radio speaker. If you have no other studio monitors, then purchase two.
Question:	Q1: Just switching to Mono (Izotope Ozone 5) in my DAW using my main monitors will not produce the same results? Q2: Headphone out to TS or TRS cable
Answer:	Yeah you can reference mono with Ozone but the avantone is more than just a mono reference. Since it is a single tweeter unlike a standard near field which is usually 2 way consisting of a tweeter and a woofer, the sound is much different. It more or less replicates the sound of a tv, radio, or computer speaker but with a flat freq response unlike those examples which exaggerate certain frequencies to make things sound "better". Although they are full range, they really only help with freq between about 90hz - 15K so you won't be able to hear sub notes or really high end clarity. Many times I've thought the mix sounded good but when I switched to the avantone the vocals sounded too far back or the "mid" bass was barely audible or the hi hats were too up front, etc. For connections, I would recommend using a secondary output from your soundcard instead of a headphone jack. Should be able to connect with a 1/4" cable or an XLR to 1/4" if you get the active ones.

Bose sound very good use up less room and use more electronics to get their sound ,they are smaller if room is a problem . both sound very good for the price ,I want to save $30 so Im getting the Edifier the Bose will go back but I would be happy with either check out the Edifiers $99 self powered speakers

Answer:	That's an easy one. Screw the swivel barb onto your faucet tight enough that it can no longer swivel. Slide the clamp over the hose end, apply a little cooking oil to your finger tip & rub in into the hose end. Now you can push & twist the hose onto the barb to your hearts content.

Answer:	it fits both size hose as they stretch. 5/8" is a slip fit, 3/4" is a tight fit
