Answer:	No, the tablets do not 'blow up' when removed from water. If you're getting a high ppm reading you may be using too many tablets for your pool's size. Our pool is approximately 28,000 gallons, and we use two tablets in a floating container/distributor. We augment the tablets with once-a-week shock. If we have to add water (we live in the Florida Keys), or get a lot of rain we'll adjust the chemicals accordingly. Also, be sure you're running your pump and filter at least 8 hours a day for dispersal of chemicals.

Answer:	The ant trap creates a moat of water that ants cannot crawl/swim through to get to the feeder...gnats fly so they would still be able to get to the feeder. As an ant barrier, this product works great for my hummingbird feeders and oriole feeder. I have 6 of these traps! Would highly recommend for ants and other crawling bugs. Good luck with the gnats!

Answer:	First is water fresh or been sitting unfiltered? If unfiltered 1/4 bag should be plenty I use 1/2 bag for 40,000 gallon pool with regular chlorine tabs in skimmer. Answer:	These are way too large and strong for a kiddie pool. Buy a 1” floater and 1” tablets instead and only put 1 or 2 of them in it and check your chlorine levels daily. Also, the person who said you need a filtration system for these to work is right. These are way overkill for a kiddie pool!! If yours doesn’t have a filtration system, I would just stick to dumping it and refilling every couple days. Hope this helps.

Formulated to Prevent Chlorine Loss

HTH Super 3" Chlorinating Tablets are formulated with cyanuric acid (CYA) to help protect against chlorine loss, and they contain built-in algae protection and clarifier.

1. Test and Balance pH Levels

First, make sure the pH of the water is balanced. If the pH is too high or too low, the chlorine sanitizer won’t work as effectively. The ideal pH range is between 7.2 and 7.8.

2. Proper Sanitization Requires Circulation

HTH Super 3" Chlorinating Tablets release chlorine slowly. Run your pump at least 8 hours per day (or night) to ensure your water is properly sanitized.

3. Apply to Feeder, Floater or Skimmer

Place one tablet in pool feeder, floater or skimmer per 10,000 gallons of water every week or as often as needed to maintain a chlorine residual of 1-4 ppm. Do not add directly to the pool as this can cause damage to pool surfaces.
