Answer:	This was my situation, i had rats going the kitchen and they would come out at night when everyone was asleep. I used about 4 trays and also threw some protein on the tray. Either peanut butter or peice of wennie. That same night got em! They will squirm trying to escape so i grabbed another glue tray and set it on the rat like a sandwich minimized the rat from escapin . You might want to have a large box or large black trash can liner available to dispose of. I hope this helps.

Answer:	I set them up so they are out of reach of dogs. I would have no suggestion for toads. In order for a rodent to be able to access it, I see no way to keep other small similar sized animals out.

Anyway, it's 2018 now and we are still using the same jar of expired Skippy Creamy 2014. And the reason why is because I've also had this same mouse trap that came in the pk of two. This thing still works and never ever misses. And as another comment said make sure the trap is up against the wall but leave it out 1-2 inches to allow the mouse room to investigate. However, although I've owned this device for at least 6 months now, I have yet to trap one rodent! They vastly prefer the nearby Hav a Hart trap baited with peanuts, though you should check that type daily to avoid a rodent's slow death. I baited the Victor trap with some dabs of peanut butter, but as noted, to no effect!

Question:	Is this sturdy enough to catch a field rat? Keeping in mind that they are huge
Answer:	You throw the entire mice glue board with the mouse stuck on it away. I would suggest that you close the board, then put it in a plastic bag and dispose of it. You never reuse a mouse glue board. Hope that helps.

Question:	what are the overall dimensions of the trap
Answer:	I don’t think it would catch a squirrel, only mice & rats in my opinion. I have caught & released squirrels in a have a heart trap, just put peanut butter on a cracker inside.
Question:	What do you do once you find a mouse dead in this trap? Do you have to touch it? Is blood everywhere? How do you dispose of the body? Big mess
Answer:	Does not necessarily kill the rodent nutball the times I have had one on the trap it was dead. I suppose if you checked the trap shortly after the mouse/rat is stuck the critter might be alive. In that case turn the trap upside down and step on it (in dirt, not on cement or decking). Then toss the trap.
Question:	I've heard mice are smart, if one mouse gets caught will the others avoid this trap
Answer:	Never caught a snake in these traps. We live in an area where we do have snakes. They are very sticky so if a snake silveredon to this trap I’m sur3 it would stick to it.
Question:	I have set the trap properly four times. Each time the mouse eats the bait and gets away. A couple of times the trap dehinges and won't snap. Help
