Answer:	I would think so. A small dog would have to get their nose or head all the way inside to make contact on the two plates. My dog has no interest, though a dead rat inside might spark some interest. I always check mine and empty first thing in the morning before I let my dog roam free in the yard.

Answer:	In order for it to produce CO2 there would either have to be a source of CO2 or some other source of carbon that could be turned into CO2, such as a bottle of propane gas. Titanium oxide, which one answerer mentioned, can with light break down CO2 into CO, into carbon monoxide--- with which gas mosquitoes are disinterested. So no, this thing doesn't particularly attract mosquitoes.

Answer:	Do yourself a favor and purchase a DynaTrap outdoor insect trap... they are made for outdoor use, and can be left running 24/7. I have two units (a large 2-acre model, and a smaller half-acre model) running 24/7 from March-November for the past 4 years, and we are nearly bug-free on our deck and around our main yard (about 2 acres). They are located on opposing corners of the house, where they are away from the decks, sidewalks, etc. They work the same way, but are industrial use... light attracts the insects, they get sucked-in, and can't escape... eventually dying of dehydration. I've caught everything from mosquitoes, moths, biting flies, etc. Bees are not attracted to it, normally, but I have captured a carpenter bee, once. These small units are okay for indoor use, or for screened porches.
Question:	Why did my Toloco only last 2 months, and there is no warranty after that
Answer:	Well, you are conned. Toloco is falsifying their warranty and tricks people to leave good review for free gift. If you are one of those people who left good review, supposedly they are supposed to give you 2 years warranty. They are based out of china so I am not sure how true that is but try your luck and email them and they will respond to you over night. And you have to realize each communication takes 2 days since you are in different time zone. They will also ignore your email at times. So good luck. How I know this? I went through this BS with this dishonest seller. So, I tried Katchy brand. They are from China too but their customer service is very responsive

Answer:	I used one of the replacement glue pads as a template on basic yellow sticky traps. Two discs can be cut from one sheet, and has the advantage of being double sided. Seemed to work just as well. MUCH less expensive and more readily available than the Katchy glue boards. Please understand that my problem was with fungus gnats. If you problem is with some other type of insect, your milage may vary.

Answer:	I've caught TONS of all sorts of insects. The best bait is probably insects that will already get trapped in it. Recluses have their name for a reason. Dark and damp is where you need to set these traps if you want to get them. And also take care of any clutter if you are serious about getting rid of it.

They like to skitter around where the wall meets the floor, so just put the traps near the wall and in corners.

Answer:	I use no bait but put it near the door where bugs can get in a leaky spot, I catch so many it becomes full. once the first bug is in, it sort of will attract scavenger bugs... they get stuck too. Question:	Is it a good trap? These gnats are very irritating
Answer:	It works. It takes a while, and I had to put several out. I finally had success when I eliminated anything with water sitting out, put about 5 of these out in high gnat traffic areas, and one small dish of water with cooking oil on top and traps around it. They went to the water and either got stuck because of the oil or got stuck on a trap. It took about five days to get them all under control, so be patient.

Question:	Does this run on batteries or 110v AC
Answer:	To be precise, this unit runs on 12V DC and wall plugged power supply is provided (rated at 500mA). I don't know actual power draw but if you want, you can look for some battery unit that will provide 12V instead.
Question:	does it kill flies too
Answer:	Yes, mine has caught regular house flies, as well as mosquitoes. I notice it works best at night, when the Dynatrap is the only source of light, because the bugs are attracted to it. Because the flies are fairly bulky compared to mosquitoes, it's pretty loud when the fan blades hit them on their way in. But I think they got stunned or killed by the fan blades, because they did not fly back out. Note, this is not a "miracle machine"; you won't catch a whole swarm of bugs this way. But I would say it can catch maybe between 1 to 3 bugs per night.
Question:	Does it work well for mosquito's? Thats my only problem
Answer:	None, whatsoever. It apparently does NOT generate any CO2 and mosquitoes are not attracted to UV light. Ran it on the porch for three weeks and didn't catch any mosquitoes. Sent it back for full refund.
Question:	Will the dynatrap insect trap 7 watt replacement bulb work for this trap
Answer:	Per the manufacturer's website, the bulb is "rated for 20,000 hours and is not replaceable." It would be impressive if it really lasts for 20,000 hours considering the manufacturer recommends replacing the 7 watt bulb used by other models every 3,000 hours. For those without a calculator, 20,000 hours is approximately 833 days.

Answer:	I hope so because that’s why I bought these. I read it could take up to 4 weeks to get rid of mice. Mine have only been plugged in for 1 week and I’m still seeing mouse droppings.

Question:	can I use it for gardenia spider mites
Answer:	If I'm not too late, consider finding a Bee Keeper in your area. Some of them, like my late dad, love doing the removal, plus harvesting the wild honey. Earn free karma points! And possibly make a "honey" connection. I use this for both wasps/hornets/spiders. Live in the country in an old family home built around late 50's early 60's. I have slight touch of arachnophobia so when house gets invaded by 2-3.5" Ms Tarantulas, I give 3 good shots. It's not fast but effective. I just wonder what makes them charge me when I hit them.....?
Question:	How do you get extra sticky replacement pads
Answer:	I checked the can that I have & it says it can spray up to 22 feet, I don't know if that's 100% accurate since I didn't measure it when I was spraying but it goes quite far I know that for a fact. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I seriously doubt it would work for gophers. You'd have to have it underground and the dampness and electrical plate inside the unit could cause a short. And gophers eat roots so it would not enter into the chamber for food like a rat. Nothing works for gophers short of dynamite. (humor here).

Answer:	Mine does that too. I think the reason is to attract the bugs to the light more.

Answer:	It wouldn’t hurt to leave it on all day, but I rarely catch any bugs during the day. They just aren’t attracted. I make sure all the lights are off at night and turn it on, and if there are bugs, this catches them!
