Answer:	I don't have ferrets but I do have a dog and a cat. It shouldn't matter what type of animal you have, if you have fleas in your house this product works great! Fleas gravitate to the trap from within your house and off animal. Still use your recommended flea meds from the vet, this just catches the ones that are left. Put one in each room of house for optimal results. I have one in my living room and one in the bedroom.

Answer:	So heat really isn't what is attracting the fleas it is a factor but not the main thing it's the color white so any night light bulb will work and several led do give off quite a bit of heat but when you use this trap you really want dark area and put it on the floor where they can get to it another way to do this is with a plate of water with dish soap in it btw

Either way the bulbs are relatively easy to find and last for a reasonable time (the replacements that is, the ones that came with the traps don't last long). Answer:	M230 is the actual trap with the plastic frame and the small light bulb and the power cord. This is the base unit. It comes with a few disposable sticky discs.M231 is the REFILL kit for the M230 that contains just sticky discs. The manufacturer recommends changing the sticky discs about once every two weeks because they can become less sticky or full of pests.This trap attracts bugs to the warmth of the light, then they get stuck on the sticky disc and die. The disc is thrown away and replaced. I have been using this trap and I have also caught spiders, crickets, and a moth (as well as numerous fleas). I did not expect it to work but it does. Replacement bulbs are the nightlight bulbs sold in many grocery, hardware, and general merchandise stores.

Answer:	We have a 1400 sq. ft house with 3 dogs and a cat. The dogs are let out and in for their needs. We live in deep south Texas (RGV) and have had a horrible flea infestation this year. We have one unit in our bedroom (the dogs are little guys and sleep with us) and one in our main living area which is the second most animal habituated area. Both units sit on the floor. We also treat our animals with Comfortis a once a month pill that kills all fleas or ticks within 30 minutes of their getting on the animals. Answer:	I'm not sure if others' answer are correct. Fleas are attracted to both light and warm (fleas don't hide in daytime). LED generates heat also. incandescent bulb gives out light along with the heat, so you will the light warm. LED Lights requires a heatsink to dissipate the heat, the heatsink can get very hot, so LED should not be used in enclosed fixture. You can try touching the base of LED bulb, it can be very hot. As the bulb is so close to the pad, I think the heat is good enough. Both type of bulbs I'm certain are warmer than body.

Answer:	I had a bad infestation. I used a combination of Diatomaceous Earth, Vet's Best Flea + Tick Home Spray and the Ultimate Flea Trap in the beginning. Once the fleas were under control, I used the flea spray along the baseboards and the Diatomaceous Earth for the areas that are my cats favorites and the carpet. Use the Diatomaceous Earth sparingly as it makes a dust. Be sure to sprinkle on the thresholds, and under chairs, couch and coffee tables. I still use the spray and the Diatomaceous Earth as a preventative. I use it once a week after I finish vacuuming. Buy the smallest bag of the Diatomaceous Earth as it goes a long way, and the 2 pack of the spray. You can get all of these products on Amazon. The spray is an amazing price. The price of the spray was $19.00 and change for 1 bottle. at the pet store. BE SURE TO VACUUM EVERYDAY UNTIL THE FLEAS ARE UNDER CONTROL. Also, either change the vacuum bag after each vacuuming, or find a way to block any exit so the fleas don't jump out. I use a canister vacuum, so I removed the hose and stuck a rag in the hole.

Question:	I ordered this assuming it would come with the light part of the trap, but all I received were the pads. Did I order the wrong thing
Answer:	There are 72 discs in this package.
Question:	Does this have a grid type cover over the sricky pad to prevent pets from getting in the sticky paper or is it just a sticky paper
Answer:	I think you could use your light but the flea trap would have to go together as directed but with a different light than they provide. This trap works great with all they provide. I love it.
Question:	Do you need one unit per room
Answer:	These flea traps will NOT eliminate a flea problem. Vacuuming is an essential part of ridding your home of these pests. Vacuum as often as possible with the traps set up wherever you need them. Put a flea collar in the bag/dirt container of the vacuum cleaner to help kill the fleas after they are vacuumed up. The traps do a good job of attracting and killing the fleas - I was amazed at how many fleas were captured after only a few hours of use.
Question:	If you have a house that 225 square feet how many of these do you need? Thanks MM
Answer:	Not sure about m230, I ordered m231 ultimate trap refills. Two packages came with 3 each refills inside. Total refills of 6. Works well.

Question:	Will this work for small spiders
Answer:	You should have received the light trap along with the pads. Quality control must have slipped if you didn’t get the light trap.
Question:	What is the size of the bio care pads
Answer:	Yes it has a plastic grid. I suggest keeping the rubber band that is around it on if you have pets that would play with unit. It they tipped it over grid could fall off and expose the sticky paper
Question:	Can a dog or cat get it's nose stuck on the paper
Answer:	I have Two and move them around. I also bought a spray for my furniture rugs. Vacuum and cleaned my floors well. Take vac bag outside to empty. I placed one trap near where my cats walk by to eat. Change your sticky pad when it is dirty. My house has 2,000 sq feet, but the cats do not go in every room. This product works great but if you have lots of fleas you have thoose sticky eggs to get rid of. you don't need one unit per room. Move it around in high traffic rooms. Hope this helps.
Question:	I bought this thinking it was the actual trap. Do you know if this will attract and capture fleas without a trap? Does it work by scent
Answer:	the stick pad is only strong enough to hold the small flees the big ones jump right off !
