Answer:	I just squirt a little on the metal flange of the trap, have caught four raccoons so far. I have two outdoor cats and they have not gone near it.

I bought these to keep the raccoons off from my pool deck in doing their business on it,as of right down there is not a sots on it that you can step without step in poo. It’s also on the edge of my pool cover.A lot is waiting for me to clean when summer gets here. I don’t think I would waste my money it don’t work for the raccoons or cats.

Answer:	The trap I got is great for ground squirrels. I have caught 8 of them in my backyard. As for Woodchucks, I am not sure. To be honest with you, I do not even know what size Woodchucks are. If you go to the Havahart website, you will find a list of animals and the best sizes for catching them.
Question:	Are these pre-loaded
Answer:	This trap will be too small for a groundhog. We recommend using a larger trap, like our Havahart® Large 1-Door Animal Trap (1079)
Question:	Are these dyed
Answer:	you dont, i have caught 2 doves in the trap and they often get to the bird seed.. but over the past 18 months i have caught 32 ground squirrels, 2 doves and 2 rats..so the ratio works for me animal wise.. :)
