Question:	Why is the pricing so weird? It's actually 2x more in bulk! Did someone make a mistake? Sorry for the rhetorical question, silly vendor person
Answer:	It has to do with who the actual "seller" is. If you select a quantity of "1", in this case, it is "sold and fulfilled" by Amazon. If you select a quantity of "2" it is "sold" by another company while still being "fulfilled" by Amazon. Yes, both quantities are, as of this writing, "fulfilled" by Amazon but that just tells you that Amazon stores, packages, and ships both items(1 and 2 packs) even though there are, in reality, two different "sellers". If you click back and forth on the quantity selector you'll see the "sold by" name change. Look just under the price after you switch. The seller of the 2 pack sets the price whereas the seller of the 1 pack(Amazon) sets its own price. I'm sure Amazon buys the 1 pack in very large quantities and, therefore, can get a bigger discount, per piece, than the other "seller" can get, per piece, for the 2-pack.

Answer:	This is a generally safe product according to my research. Make sure to read the packaging and follow direction. (FOR INDOOR USE READ THE FOLLOWING) One lesson I learned the hard way: the sugary syrup is irresistible to ants, even though it is laced with poison. This means when you use Tarro, you're actually providing access to free food! The poison will work on the ants and it takes about 18-24 hours to kill them... but as you wait after 24 hours, Tarro syrup will attract other thriving colonies into your home. They'll follow the same rich trails laid behind by the previous colony and even scavenge on the carcases of the previously fallen colony. This cycle will continue, attracting ants from far away reaches and allowing them to setup massive colonies within your home. This is especially true with Argentine ants (available throughout the world), which form massive colonies with multiple queens - a trait unique to this type of ant, whereas others will battle for territory. So the lesson learned is simple... once the initial 1 or 2 swarms die down, remove all baits and all forms of food from open spaces in your home; patch up all openings in walls, baseboards, cracks around windows, etc; apply perimeter pesticide around your home; and look for signs of wandering ants in the next week. If you see more ants then you missed an opening and already have an established colony in your wall.... repeat!! Just don't leave out Tarro and keep replenishing, especially in the case of Argentine ants.
Question:	Is this safe to have around pets? I have a curious cat
Answer:	I'd say no. My cat knocked one of these over once and licked the syrup. She was fine but it wasn't a fun afternoon (trip to the vet, etc.). Terro sells a version of this that encloses the bait in plastic and has sticky squares to attach them to the floor, counter, or other surfaces. I use those instead now.

Answer:	The ant trails at my house sometimes go from the floor to the ceiling. I turn the bait so that the liquid will not run out and use Scotch tape to tape it to the wall next to the ant trail. I tape the bait high enough that babies and grand children cannot get to it. It usually takes two days for the ants to disappear. Then three days after they disappear, they return to the trap. Another two days and they disappear again. The second time they disappear is usually the last time I see them at that location.

How Liquid Ant Bait Works

Since this is a bait, initially you will see more ants – but don’t worry, this is a good thing. Why? As ants forage for food, they are easily attracted to the sweet, sugary liquid inside the bait stations. After finding the bait, worker ants consume it and leave behind a pheromone trail leading back to the colony. This trail lets other worker ants know where the newly discovered food supply is. This is why you will see more ants in the beginning.

Meanwhile, the active ingredient, Borax, is slowly interfering with the ant’s digestive system, ultimately killing it, but leaving enough time for the ant to go back and share the dose with the rest of the colony. Answer:	Honestly, this was a waste of time and money. I set the traps and they did absolutely nothing for my ant problem. Either buy a different trap or a bug spray.

Answer:	I haven't tried to use one in my car but I'm sure you can because you can stick them under your car seats or in the boot. As long as no-one stands on them, causing them to stick to itself they will work.

Answer:	I've caught TONS of all sorts of insects. The best bait is probably insects that will already get trapped in it. Recluses have their name for a reason. Dark and damp is where you need to set these traps if you want to get them. And also take care of any clutter if you are serious about getting rid of it.

Answer:	They did not catch bed bugs for me and I had confirmed bed bugs. Waste of money in my opinion

Answer:	They don't have insecticide nor do they have anything to attract the bugs. They're entirely passive, just a patch of very strong glue on a piece of paper. Bugs are VERY predictable. They like to skitter around where the wall meets the floor, so just put the traps near the wall and in corners.

Answer:	I use no bait but put it near the door where bugs can get in a leaky spot, I catch so many it becomes full. once the first bug is in, it sort of will attract scavenger bugs... they get stuck too. I see a lot of spiders, crickets, earwigs, house centipedes (1000 leggers) , and sow bugs (rolly pollys).

Answer:	Bought this product in June 2019. Here's the definitive and unequivocal answer: YES, they are indeed refillable. And I will tell you how . . . As of my purchase, the green "housing" can be snapped open to remove or replace the cartridge. Even if the manufacturer eventually seals the green housing, or doesn't offer replacement cartridge inserts, one can still re-use both the green unit AND the interior transparent cartridge- - - thereby saving money and avoiding getting poked in the eye one day by the plastic spike, while you're attempting to enjoy what was once a plastic-free surf at the beach. Step 1: Either snap open the door of the housing to remove the spent cartridge or, alternatively - if you'd rather not chance weakening the latch of the housing and structural integrity of the product leave the cartridge in the housing. Step 2: Use a pipette or syringe or squirt gun or slender turkey baster or even just a thin stream of water from your faucet to fill the cartridge through the little "ant-hole" or entryway. Step 3: Shake the unit to better loosen and dissolve spent contents. Step 4: Repeat Steps 2 and 3 until you can either see the cartridge is clear and clean, or than nothing is being ejected from the tiny ant-hole anymore as you shake/fling the rinse-water out. Step 5: Shake dry. Don't fret about the interior needing to be "bone-dry" before refilling with Terro's killer liquid. For starters, Terro's killer liquid contains water they don't call it the 'universal solvent' for nothing. Secondly, the cartridge has only one aperture/hole - so there isn't a lot of air flow and waiting for water to air dry in the stuffy/highly humid cartridge risks mold contamination {which ants will detect and steer clear of}. Yes - - - boric acid is also a mold inhibitor - - - but you're spending money to kill ants. Step 6: TIME for the REFILL yay!!: Go buy the Terro T200 2 oz. product. Or larger if you can find it. These bottles contain the same "syrup of death" that came with these Green-spiked traps. Also, the refill bottles have a tiny hole - smaller than the "ant-hole" on the actual cartridge - - - so refilling can be done directly from the T200 bottle. Simply squirt or drip-fill that cartridge. And don't worry if you overfill and some runs down the side: ants will still eat and die, and follow that syrupy trail of death to the mother load awaiting them in your newly-refilled cartridge. You just saved some money. And kept at least one piece of plastic out of the ocean. Win-win.

Answer:	I put them approx 8 to 10 feet apart around the perimeter of my entire house. After 1 to 2 days never saw another ant. There could posibly be instructions as to placement but I apparently did not bother to even look. Good Question. I will look on package next time if or when I need them again.

Question:	Can these packets be opened and sprinkled on an area of lawn to suppress the ants for a short period of time? As in for an outdoor reception
Answer:	This product is an ant bait, where they would gather it and return with it to the colony. It will kill both the ants that you see and those still in the colony. This product can be reapplied as needed. We recommend checking every 1-2 weeks to see if the bait is still visible, if it is not and there are still ants, more should be applied.
Question:	Does this product repel Carpenter Ants
Answer:	It's a light color, but more of a light tan with maybe just a hint of pink. The granule size is closer to coarse sand, but the material itself is light in weight, a bit like sawdust. If you are concerned it would be mistaken for sugar - it won't be. It has a mild odor, but not offensive (at least to me) but nothing comes to mind to compare it to.
Question:	Does this detur ladybugs, butterflies
Answer:	I don't know whether it is harmful to pets, but it sure doesn't get rid if ants. I have applied it several time since I bought it, and I think the ant hills are bigger than ever. These are ordinary ants. Save your money.
Question:	Why I used it but more ants gather next day
Answer:	I would only assume that Terro tested on Fire Ants and didn't get 100 percent kills, or satisfactory kills. It may kill some fire ants, to a home owners liking, but not to Terro specifics.

Question:	I've been using it for a few weeks now, and it's full of ants (not sure if dead), but the steady stream of ants marching by continues. How long
Answer:	Each ant that consumes the bait will die within 24-48 hours, however, it can take a few days or weeks to control the entire colony, depending on its size. If Ants are continuing to come to the bait, we recommend to keep the stations down. You may also want to consider using a contact killer such as our spray, granules, or dust around the perimeter of the home.
Question:	Do this product kill carpenter ants
Answer:	We cannot recommend this product for carpenter ants.
Question:	Does the adhesive back remove easily? My cabinets and baseboards are new and don't want to damage
Answer:	i know from experience that placing on painted surfaces are fine (no damage) i never tried it on cabinets.
Question:	Should you use all four baits at once or is one okay if that seems to be all that's needed
Answer:	The most effective use of the bait containers is to place them where ant activity is the heaviest. If it’s confined to one area, one container...maybe two...should suffice.

Most essential oils, especially on Amazon, are either highly diluted, manufactured synthetic oils or a foreign oil which has a long history of being contaminated with harmful substances. The prices for Peppermint oil on Amazon is proof of this as the market price of Pure Peppermint would not allow a seller to sell 4 oz of Peppermint for less than $25 without losing money. Question:	how many ounces of peppermint oil are actually in this product
Answer:	The label only reads: Active ingredient: Pure Origin Northwest Peppermint. Other ingredients: Water, non-toxic emulsifiers. There are no percentage amounts given for any of the ingredients. It’s STRONG, seems 2 work. I was pleasantly surprised. Natural, non toxic that actually works. It does not kill the ants. They really do not like mint scent.
