Answer:	It came with a cardboard sheath slipped over the blade but this was just for shipping. I put some duct tape over the cardboard and am now using that when I store it. I don't know if a bespoke sheath is made for it.

Answer:	I’ve caught 7-8 pocket gophers with these. About the size of a “normal” rat without a tail. I must’ve eliminated a small colony, because ive not seen mounds in over a year. You have to be persistent as it was not a 100% catch rate. Sometimes they would push dirt onto the trap and it would go off. It took me 4months to get them all, and probably some from my neighbors yard that migrated. They are worth it if you don’t like gophers digging tunnels in your yard. Not sure if it works on moles, too.
