Answer:	I think it would depend on where you are having a rodent problem. Mine seems to be the kitchen so I put my repeller in the dining room which is partly open to the kitchen. That way it reaches the area where I have seen a mouse or evidence of one.

Question:	Have you run it in hot summer in the attic 24/7, is there a fire hazard? Does it heat up
Answer:	No, I have not run it in hot summer. I bought two of it a week ago today. I set up one in the attic and the other in the basement. I use switch #3 and increase the auditory/audio volume (I'm the only one at home and no pet). I switch on the the LED light. The LED light flashes consistently when it's dark, even in the mid-day if the surrounding area is dark. It never gets hot. They are both working as advertised. Yesterday, I got a free one in the mail. I removed a vent in the wall and sandwiched it in there so that the sound can travel within the walls. The critter is active in my wall. The activities have plummeted.
Question:	I store a car in a covered carport for 6 months. Will this work if placed under the car
Answer:	I put the battery one under my car and it reduced the activity to a minimum. I bought this electric one but I have it on a stool. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work under the car. If you are close to a house, you might want to turn off the animal sound. The actual test will come after I’m gone for a week

Test switch is just like a converter, it converts the ultrasounds (inaudible to humans, but audible to rodents ) to sonic sounds (audible to humans).

No ultrasound will be detected in this setting.

Switch 1 / ULTRA (inaudible)

The speaker on the left will emit variable frequency ultrasound which is varying between 18 kHz ~ 65 kHz and above human hearing.

So it's inaudible to human ear but audible to rodents.

The ultrasounds is the default setting, it will be active too at Switch 2 and 3.

Switch 2 / DUO (inaudible)

The rodent repellent will emit ultrasounds & impulse attack wave together.

Inaudible to human ear but audible to rodents at this stage.
