Answer:	Skin. For clothing, get Permethrin, but apply it ahead of time so it is completely dry once you wear the garment. I used Sawyer Products Premium Permethrin Clothing Insect Repellent Trigger Spray for clothing and this repellent for skin while traveling in Central America. The combination provided excellent protection.
Question:	Has anyone used both the spray and the lotion? Which works better for ticks in your opinion
Answer:	I'm was cutting grass and gardening about 5-6 days a week. We had s very wet year also. I sprayed every time I went out and multiple times through out the day. 1 can lasted about 3-4 weeks.

Answer:	We would not recommend using this with a diffuser. This is a topical insect repellent and we would recommend following the application instructions for use.

Answer:	Max Deet can be used any way you want except drinking it. It works indoors or out. Very effective and not offensive. It doesn't stain clothing or even bed sheets. Works really well and you won't need a mosquito net even in the jungles of Central America. Only thing I ever found that works effectively.

Answer:	a little oily - however this product didn't work for me very well - I still got mosquito bites

If flies are going to be an issue we recommend using Sawyer's Premium Insect Repellent with 20% Picaridin (which was reviewed by Consumer Reports as the Fisherman's Formula in its list of safe and effective insect repellents in February, 2016). Picaridin is much more effective against flies than DEET, especially at 20% which is higher than other Picaridin formulas available on the market.

Answer:	Use just a small amount, about the size of a dime for each leg, arm, etc. One 8 oz. bottle should last the whole two weeks but take two so you can sell one to someone who forgot to bring some. It also comes in a 3 oz. size if you are doing carry on - at least one each of those.

Answer:	This product does not work. We heard critters in one of our walls. I bought the Zero Pest Repeller. Over the next ten days we had mice in our family room and laundry room. I caught both with standard mouse traps. Don't waste your money on this technology. It is not worth the money.
