Answer:	This particular brand of raid has a unique aroma. It is not overly chemical, more on the lighter side. The smell dissipates after a minute or two, then you don't smell it. This is my go to for spot killing a bug. Works instantly. You can't find this product in stores anymore. so good old Amazon to the rescue. Don't understand the spraying over carpet reference, unless you see a but and zap it on the spot. To just spray your carpet to have a lasting effect, I don't think it's intended for that. Question:	Is this safe for succulents
Answer:	I doubt it - I only put it directly on a plant when I'm so fed up with the bugs that I figure it's worth it if the plant dies too - but you might spray it on to kill the bugs and then rinse off the plant - probably would need to mix a soap solution to spray on first. I'd only use it on a plant as a last resort, personally.
