Answer:	Are you asking if you can use the provided plastic rods to repair HDPE? As far as I know, yes. I was told you can weld low-density polyethyl­ene (LDPE) welding rod to high-density polyethylene (HDPE) sheet but not the other way around. If you purchase the product and it didn’t work on your HDPE surface please call us at 310-773-0735. But, please be reminded this welding kit (80w) is mainly for relatively quick repair jobs for cracks on a car bumper or tears on a Kayak. (You can achieve stronger bond by using the wire mesh included. You can easily search and find Youtube videos on how to do this.) For bigger and longer projects, we suggest you go with a $200 or more expensive higher wattage welder.

Question:	Will this work to fix a broken post on an earring
Answer:	I doubt it very seriously. There is no adhesive I know of that can fix such a tiny joint. Even some hypothetical micro-welding would probably not fix such a small problem. On the other hand, for slightly broader joints and fissures, I highly recommend this product.
Question:	Will it work on plastic models
Answer:	Yes, it will in my experience. It is possible that it depends on the specific type of plastic. The other thing is that since you need to shine the UV light to harden it, you can't put it in the middle of two pieces where there would be no exposure to the UV light. Sometimes I put a little glue on the inside and use Bondic on the outer seams to provide an even stronger bond.

Answer:	Real Bondic as pictured.
Question:	How long do we shine the light on it
Answer:	Instructions say 3-4 sec. You need to rough up the surface and apply in layers, depending on the repair. More layers, more strength. I repaired a $25 pair of sunglasses where the temple snapped in half. That's not an easy repair. After roughing surfaces up, I first did a butt weld to hold it together. Then I went around the piece, layering the adhesive and overlapping the break an eigth inch or so all the way around, hardening each weld with the light. Eventually you make a band around the break. The adhesive is like very thick syrup but bot sticky. It hardens immediately with the UV light. Obviously if you grab it like a stick and try to snap it, it will! But my glasses fit tightly going on, and I have had no problems since I fixed them, which is all I expected. Afterall, they broke when they were whole and brand new! So I'm getting my money's worth and even epoxy glue didn't hold up when I tried that. Plus the Laser Bond is simple to use with no messy glue!

Question:	Is there a plastic welding kit that matches the color of the cracked dash
Answer:	no. Cracked dashes are generally removed and repaired then painted. They can be very hard to repair based on age. It's recommended to find either a new dash or get one from a salvage yard to install depending on age of car. With these "welding kits, there is going to be alot of sanding and you will still need to paint the the dash to achieve good results
Question:	Will it work on high density polyethylene
Answer:	Any idea of the melting temperature? If you turn up your iron and almost touch it will it melt away? If not you may be good, if it is a foam no I would not try it.

Question:	I have a home security sign that has fallen off its small metal post it was attached to. Will this product work to reattach the sign to the metal post
Answer:	It's possible. This is not glue. If the mating surfaces can be reached by the light it could work. Since I can't know how the pieces mate I can't provide any certainty. If your concern is whether the Bondic can adhere to metal and a sign made if a different material, my opinion is that it might work. All I can offer you is a "definite maybe". Think of it as a welding material. If you can run a bead of Bondic along the metal post such that it would join the two pieces, small thicknesses/layers at a time it should do the job.
Question:	Does this work on China or porcelain
Answer:	Yes, it will. But you will have to paint your porcelain after using Bondic. This way you saved your China and it will be not easely visible.
Question:	Now that it has been a few months down the road does anyone know how far one tube would go(approx) if i were to lay a 1/8" bead continiously
Answer:	Don't know, but @ 1/8" wide bead, my ghee would be ~1 foot??? Expensive glue for sure with limited applications. It has failed on all smooth surfaces I have applied it to.
Question:	can this weld a diamond band saw blade together that would be 37 inches long and 0.126 wide
Answer:	A broken band saw blade would have to be welded to fuse the metal ends together. If you think there is a glue on the market that would withstand the tension applied to that application, I'm fearful that you would definitely shed some blood attempting to use a sophisticated shop tool. My advice is to just replace the blade and try to salvage at least one finger to punch 911 emergency.

Answer:	It may work but I don't think its the correct plastic. Your looking for #2 HDPE plastic. I can't find anywhere that says thats what these are.

Answer:	I don't know. We used it to fix the water leak on our coffee pot. I wouldn't see why not. All it really does is melt the plastic to the item.

Answer:	Vinyl is kind of plastic heat is not a problem for vinyl but not sure if work or not.
Question:	Can it be used on ATV plastic
Answer:	I used it on ATV plastic. I didn't use the rods included with the kit, but used similar plastic cut from another ATV part. The trouble with this welder is that the tip breaks off. I went through two of them on maybe 14" of repairs. I'm currently considering buying the similar item from Urethane Supply. I wouldn't recommend this particular tool unless you enjoy being frustrated.

Question:	what type batterydoes it use...is it replacable
Answer:	Battery is not replaceable. Buy a new one.
Question:	will this hold up on a broken false tooth
Answer:	I really don't know for sure. I know it will set up pretty fast, but really does not cure real hard for at least 24 hours. I seen video were the set up and then sand or grind to shape the material to the desired shape. It is suppose to set up fast, but I found it cured really hard after about 12 hours. It might work for you, sure can't hurt, if it does not hold, you will have to remove all the excess by sanding or grinding. Also don't know what the saliva in your mouth will do to the clue over time. Might ask a dentist, what they would use.
Question:	Will it work on bath tub (outside) to hold a plastic moulding
Answer:	It worked for me inside a refrigerator for a shelf and for a tray. I would think it would work to hold plastic molding. Just remember, it is NOT glue. Unless the light can reach it, it will not set up. It must be in an area the light can "see".
Question:	How do I "unglue" this because the item was glued crooked
Answer:	as far is my experience I would intuitively say live with it and be more careful next time
