How To Use Instructions

DAY 1: Spread granules over the undamaged lawn first, preventing mole damage in these areas. Also start treating the damaged lawn nearest to the undamaged lawn. This will start the process of moving moles away from your lawn. Water granules for approximately 20 minutes on a light shower setting. Water and Ground Penetrating Technology (GPT) allows the repellent to absorb into the soil more thoroughly.

DAY 2: Continue the movement of moles by spreading the granules away from undamaged lawn and towards the boundaries of your lawn. Spread the granules over the second area; water the same area as Day 1 plus the second area to get moles moving. Each watering allows the granules with GPT to penetrate more deeply.

Answer:	No , the box comes with 5 pouches. Inside each pouch is two worms. We break each worm in half and push inside mole holes with a small stick. Works best if you use gloves as to avoid human sent on worms. This product works.

Answer:	When i first started using these i had the same problem. I found that packing down about 8" of the run before setting the trap helps. It forces the mole to push more dirt and i havent missed one since.

Answer:	Yes, Ive used it a lot. Find a new mound, use a rod just bigger than the worm and try to make one hole. You can feel the ground give when you’re in the track. Ware gloves to keep human smell off worm. Cut in half and insert dropping it in. I cover hole with a little rock to seal. but do not press it down .
Question:	I was asking how far apart for 15 foot wide tunnel
Answer:	If you have a 15 foot-wide tunnel in your yard, this product will not be effective. You should instead call the Department of Homeland Security, as someone is smuggling truckloads of something under your yard.

Identify Surface Runways

Look for brown, grassless streaks on a lawn that are created when moles tunnel below. Carefully poke a hole in the top of the surface runway with your index finger. Be sure to not collapse the pile or cover up the hole. Mark the hole with a small stick. Repeat with several runway locations. Wait 48 - 72 hours and then check holes to see if they have been sealed. If they have, they are active and can be baited. Runways that have had holes resealed within 72 hours should be baited.

Bait Only Active Runways

Poke a hole 3 to 5 feet on either side of the assessment hole and place one worm bait down each hole. Push the worm as far down as you can. Make sure each worm is sitting on the floor of the runway. Reseal the runway with dirt to keep out any light and pinch hole closed or cover it with a piece of sod or small rock.

Check for Mole Activity

Wait 5 to 7 days, then check for mole activity using the same process in Step 1. If the holes stay open for 48 - 72 hours, the mole has likely traveled the runway and eaten the bait.

Important information:



The units should not be inserted into the molehills or amongst them, otherwise, they will be scattered in all directions. Position the devices between the house and the molehills so that the moles are driven back the way they came. You may find that in the early stages, molehills appear more frequently and even close to the unit. This indicates that it is beginning to have an effect and the moles are becoming disorientated so don't panic!

Moles have usually driven away within days, but please be aware that the process can take up to 2-4 weeks so please be patient.



Important Tips:

Answer:	To wash the Microfiber towel in the washing machine with little detergents, cool or warm, use warm when they are very dirty. DO NOT use Hot setting. Do Not use bleach. Question:	how does this compare to Vole Max
Answer:	Don't know how it compares to Vole Max, but what I found works bests is mouse traps (that kill) with peanut butter. Get a bunch of them and place them near holes and paths. One the Vole start to die the others will start to leave. You can also try getting a cat, but that will cost more in the long run.

Answer:	Not so much. The squirrels still get into my outdoor pots to either bury acorns or dig them out.

Operation & Precaution:



Simply stick the repeller into the ground and give the repeller a full 24 hours to charge before use. After 24 hours push the switch on the bottom of the unit to the "on" position and enjoy.

Question:	I have a pretty large yard, heavy mole activity. Am i going to have to spend $1200. A year to put this down every 30 days
Answer:	I spread it in the highest mole activity area one time and they never left. Could not afford to do it every 30 days. I am going to try gas cylinders next.
Question:	could this product be used in an area where poultry free-range
Answer:	I don't know the answer to that, I would check with Chicken Chic online she has a whole lot of answers for free ranging chickens, this is made from peanut shells, also!
Question:	Can you use in the winter
Answer:	I like to it it down late fall, just prior to the first snow. That first snow/rain mix will make it soak into the ground. Even if the ground were frozen at the time, it will work all winter. I don't think I would try applying it after a heavy snow.
Question:	How do you apply this? Fertilizer spreader? Also, does it stink? lastly, how big are the granules
Answer:	Yes use your spreader directions are on the mole scram container. They are granules that are twice as big as usual fertilizer. There is an odor definitely but you want it because hopefully it will deter the moles. I am on my fourth application. And seeing some results

Answer:	Yes, I used it in my organic vegetable garden--and it worked! The active ingredient is castor oil, and the rest is sawdust, granite, and corn starch.
Question:	Will this product really work on ground hogs
Answer:	I put this down last summer I had a huge mole problem and one Dady groundhog. 2 days I put it on. I hadn't seen any moles after and nothing this summer. One ground hog showed up again this spring I put it over the lawn again and I haven't seen him or any miles again. Worked for me.
Question:	WHAI ARE INGREDIANCES
Answer:	castor oil is the main ingredient and the supposed one that drives the gophers/moles away. we've had mixed results using it.
Question:	how long do the moles stay away from the treated area
Answer:	I have had good success applying the product every other month (faithfully). It is rare for me to find gopher mounds. There tends to be more mole activity in the Spring, but oddly they tunnel along the edges of my lawn. I suspect this is where the product is least concentrated. If you are a new user, I would apply monthly for about three months, especially if you continue to see activity. My geographic location is N. California.
