Answer: | An 18.5 inch head is pretty small; make sure to measure about an inch above the eyebrows. The average 6 year old has a 21.5 inch head. My 7 yr old daughter and my 10 year old daughter have @ 21 inch heads. My 13 year old and I both have @ 22 inch heads. These Boxing Helmets have a nice adjustable velcro strap system on the back to accommodate a wide range of sizes. I bought smalls for my 7 & 10 yr olds. I bought my 13 yr old a medium which I can use too. They are pretty nice helmets. |
