Answer:	Dear Mrmxwill, "Amdro Quick Kill" Works best if you spread around the ant hill (Do not) disturb the mound. You can also sprinkle a little sugar around also. Great stuff, the workers take it back to the queen and she dies. The queen dies, the colony dies. It also works on Black Carpenter Ants that eat (Live) in oak trees, just sprinkle a little around and on the tree. It may take several applications. Nothing will get rid of ants forever, unless they start making and selling DDT again. That stuff was the best !!! Probably why they stopped making it ??Amdro Quick Kill is a poison so use it sparingly and safely.Oh so sorry, I thought it was the "Amdro" granule's you purchased or were looking at. I've used both, follow the directions and you'll be ok, They both work good.I seem to like the grandule's better because I can put it where I see the ant mounds.

Answer:	The instructions state it kills all types of ants The ants take the killer back to their nest. No see ums are a flying insect like the mosquito. I can't see how it would work.

Answer:	Here in Western PA we have been having some serious rain issues. I don't doubt the manufacturers specs on the package about using the product every ninety days. However, in my case? About three days after application we had RAIN. The resulting plethora of gnats, skeeter's, flies, no-see-ums" leads me to doubt the product was invented by Noah and could survive a flood. So, if the rain is scheduled to leave for at least a week. I will re-apply. I have had great success with Ortho products in the past.
Question:	Can pets be in the yard
Answer:	I put it out in my yard and let my dogs loose in the yard couple of hours later and they were fine. I also have a few stray cats that were go though my yard and lay around in my yard and they were fine also.
