Answer:	I use the recommended ration on all plants because the bugs I use it for are little skinny white worms that eat up the roots. If you don't get the answer you are looking for then I would suggest trying a slightly diluted formula first as a test. We use Neam oil on our rose foliage. Neam oil needs to be shaken constantly as you spray it since oil and water rapidly separate.

Answer:	I am a certified pesticide applicator here's the best advice any one can give you: Read the label including all safety rules, harvest restrictions, what pests it will kill etc.; you can get it for free online from bonide products; if its not labeled for it do not use it. This product is highly effective against a wide variety of bugs but is especially effective against beetles & other hard shelled insects such as fleas & ticks. If worms are your issue this will work too but there are other products that work on worms such as BT & pyrethroids (bonide products sells these as well). The chemical is Permetherin; many products contain Permetherin; they are not all the same strength & thus are not used (labeled) for same things. Always read the label & use the correct amount of any pesticide & do not use the same pesticide all the time. Following label instructions & changing products (modes of action) minimizes the changes of resistance to the product & ensures satisfactory results.

Question:	Does this work for clover mites
Answer:	Ultracide is only for surfaces in the home, including carpet, hard floors and furniture areas you don't touch or get your face close to so as to inhale it. After it is dry, and the air is clear of fumes, pets and people can return to treaed areas. (20 minutes-ish?) It is a very effective immediate poison to insects plus leaves a residue that keeps newly hatched ones from growing for several months if not washed (shampoed or mopped) off. It is ALSO very poisonous if put on mammals like pets and people! Read the can! To get fleas off baby kittens and pups, wash gently with warm water and soap. Dish soap is great. This mainly just stuns fleas so they can be flushed off, so wash them all the way down the drain because they wake up and are good as new quickly. Wash or change their bedding very hot to get rid of eggs every day. Capstar (Nitepyrm) and Program (Lufenuron) are safe for kittens in food at only a few weeks of age, and the Capstar kills while the Program prevents newly hatched insects from growing. These two products are safer than drops or topicals, and the bugs don't develop resistance to them like topical products. In combination, they are about foolproof. These are fed to the pet and the ingredients are only poisonous to insects, not mammals. You get them at the vet, or by the generic names online. (usually in bulk)

Answer:	Id like to believe so. But it kills the fleas for sure up to 7+ months. Not immeadiatly because they have many eggs and etc, but definitly in a month or so .

Answer:	I recommend calling your Cooperative Extension agent. They have the latest info on these type problems. you maybe wasting your time and money spraying with Bonide orchard spray. It is mainly an anti fungal chemical. My peach trees feel victim to "brown rot" and I had sprayed the trees as directed. They also have the "yellowing" of the leaves. So my applying the Bonide spray did absolutely nothing for my tree. My Coop Ext agent told me that even the commercial orchards have been effected in the same manner.

Answer:	2 tablespoons = 1 oz per gallon Up to 4 tablespoons = 2 oz per gallon It depends on the type of insect you are trying to kill. If it does not rain after spraying, it will be effective for 4-8 weeks.
Question:	Can this be used as a soil drench for houseplants
Answer:	yes, I've used the spray for a drench mixing w/water according to directions on the bottle for spray. *BUT* be sure to dilute it according to directions and adjust that so that the concentrate is mixed according to the ratio for the amount of water you are using... so down to 1/8, 1/4 or whatever teaspoons concentrate, because if you use the concentrate directly on the size of pot used for house plants it will be way to strong for the plants you're applying to .. to the point of death even. Also you may want to ventalate well for a few days afterward. There are a few types of plants ... azaleas & fusias which are more sensitive. I use aerisol foaming window cleaner covering all folage surfaces well, leaving it on for about 30 minutes and then rinsing off under running water or spraying them off with water for spider mites on those.
Question:	How much do you mix in gallon of water for dogwood fungus
Answer:	This is *not* a funguside. It's a systemic insecticide. You mix according to directions on the bottle and spray it on. It won't be effective for fungus on dogwood. An important word of *caution*.... wear latex gloves when mixing and spraying. Remember this is for bugs and that you're just a very big bug. Small amounts can have effects that don't show up right away, and do accumlate if you spray again and again with skin contact. Wash any clothes that might get spray mist on them immediately (and alone in the wash load) after spraying.

Answer:	I do believe it is. My understanding is that the slugs eat this product (and they do love it) and then they stop eating. That is what kills them, it doesn't poison them.

Answer:	Don't know the answer for certain. My original thought in your case was that it was washed away by rain or your own watering BUT: I've applied it in past years and still still see the while granules around the plant after it rains, so that's probably not the reason it disappears. I like the product because it seems to be effective, and yet it's harmless to desirable wildlife like toads (I checked by calling the company's 1-800 line a few years ago, which you can also do - the number is on each container and they're helpful). Also we were at a garden center nursery yesterday and I asked about slug prevention. They specifically mentioned a product named "Sluggo" as a good choice.

I will not be purchasing this product again since it not only didn't work but I lost most of the garden while counting on this product to live up to it's promotional attributes. Question:	Is this good on vegetables
Answer:	I don't know; I only use it on house plants. Does a good job; you have to be consistent with using it.

Answer:	I have only used it to control spider mites in my African violets. It keeps them under control but does not eliminate them, much to my chagrin. I have no idea if it would be effective against mealy bugs. Can you check with a local nursery or garden center?

Answer:	I had success but used it along with a powder I put in the soil and made several applications over a one or two month period. And I cleaned each leaf of the plant. But after sticking with it, the mites were gone and my big focus tree survived and is now very healthy

Question:	Does it kill thrips
Answer:	Although I don't grow Jasmine ground cover, I have used Ornamec around all the plants that I do grow. Remember that Ornamec is for grass not weeds! Read all the information that comes with Ornamec.
Question:	Is this product organic
Answer:	Read the label for specific information, so far it hasn't killed any thing but grass for me. I have sprayed it on Monkey grass with no apparent problems yet. I don't have any liatris. Please note it may take multiple applications to get the Bermuda gone and also that Bermuda does grow back (spreads) from its rhizomes so the battle is always ongoing. plan on using it for a while if not forever. I carefully spray it along the outer edge of the stones that edge my beds. That seems to help keep it out. Not perfect but it helps.
Question:	Does this work for fungus gnats
Answer:	The active ingredient in Ornamec is fluazafop. Used in the proper mix ratio, it will not kill Zoysia. In fact, it is used to control Bermuda grass in Zoysia on golf courses per USGA "Turfgrass and Environmental Research Online". Used alone, you may see some temporary yellowing of Zoysia. This can be mitigated by mixing with triclopyr (Turflon Ester and other name brands). Question:	Has anyone used this to prevent squash borers? My zuchinni squash yield has been very poor for the last two years when only using insecticides
Answer:	Most ornamental plants will not be damaged by Omamrc 170. None of mine have. However, I direct the spray to,the grasses and try to avoid directly spray toward the targeted grasses. Any incidental contact has not caused damage to the ornamentals.

Question:	Does it work for Magnolia Scale? Thank you
Answer:	I use it to kill scales on my citrus plants but not sure this is Magnolia scale. Be careful not to put too much as this will 'shock' the plant and it will lose all its leaves and possibly die - I found this out the hard way. Best to use a modest amount and wait a week to see if scales are turning brown and thus dying. I recommend this product and will buy more
Question:	Does this product get rid of scale
Answer:	Only insects. If scale is caused by any non-insect disease, it won’t work. Google scale to find out.
Question:	does this product take care of red spider mites
Answer:	No. Spider mites are not insects they are mites. Regular insecticides will not kill spider mites and sometimes makes them worse. You have to use a miticide, neem oil but watch what you put that on it will kill or burn some plants or try Murphy's oil soap or dish soap mixed with water. Reapply in about 5 days to kill any newly hatched eggs.
Question:	Why do I still see fungus gnats flying around after one week post-application? I thought it killed anything that ingested the pesticide
Answer:	Treating fungus gnats requires a multi-prong approach to address all stages of its lifecycle (egg, larvae, pupae, adults). Treatments are not a "one-time only" kind of thing. What you see flying around is the adults whose main goal is to lay eggs in the moist soil. The adults do not feed on the plants so this insecticide does nothing to kill them. Adults generally live about a week but will lay approximately 300 eggs in that time. When the larvae emerge, they live in and feed on the organic matter in the soil for about 2 weeks. My understanding is that most types of fungus gnats do not feed on the plant roots if there is sufficient organic matter in the soil. So, again, this systemic insecticide won't kill the larvae if they are not eating the roots. It is not until they become adults that they emerge from the soil and then the cycle begins again. Here is what I do to address fungus gnats: - Provide gentle airflow in the room and use well-draining potting soil to allow the soil to dry out sooner. I add extra perlite to almost all bagged potting soils for my indoor plants. Try not to overwater. - Keep yellow sticky traps around my plants at all times. These catch and kill the adults. When I had a bad infestation, I put lots of the sticky traps in my pots and changed them as they filled up with gnats. Now I just keep one trap near the plants as a way to monitor for the presence of any pests. - Use "Mosquito Dunks" or other similar products that contains BTi (Bacillus Thuringiensis subspecies Israelensis) as a soil drench. BTi is a naturally occurring bacteria that kills the larvae of both mosquitoes and fungus gnats but is safe for people and pets. Soak half of a "Mosquito Dunks" donut in a gallon or so of water overnight. Use this solution to water the plants. Make sure to thoroughly drench the entire soil surface, especially around the sides/edges of the pot. With an active infestation, it is necessary to reapply the solution at least weekly for a minimum of 6 weeks to stop the lifecycle. You will initially see a decrease in fungus gnats but do not be deceived! If you only treat 1-2 times, they will return. The "Dunks" can be reused many times. - As a preventive measure, I use the "Mosquito Dunks" soil drench at least once a month to replace one of my regular waterings. Between doing this and monitoring the sticky traps, I no longer have problems with the annoying little creatures.

Answer:	I used this for whiteflies and scale on a new palm tree, along with a systemic insecticide. I think the combination worked and they’re pretty much gone. The Bonide would probably do well for your Hibiscus. Just make sure you cover the whole plant with it-including undersides of the leaves.

Answer:	The all season's oil coats the insects and smothers them as insects breath thru their skin. Neem oil does similar and also when is taken in by the insect while feeding it makes the insect not want to eat. Neem also prevents some plant diseases Both are safe organic insecticides.

Question:	Works for golden pothos
Answer:	You must keep your pets off the lawn until you water it in and the lawn completely dries. I gave it a few extra days because the pellets do not all dissolve at the same time. I had better luck using a product with a hose and sprayer and liquid product. Also children should stay off the lawn the same amount of time.
Question:	Does this work on orchids outside
Answer:	I experienced no problems around my plants. I have found all the Bonide products work as well or better than advertised. I went to their website. It's very informative.
Question:	Does this kill the thrips
Answer:	I don't know what Rollie pollies are and don't recall ever seeing them in my area. I live in Michigan and I have slugs when it's very wet and humid. This product is the best thing I've ever found for riding them from my yard. I'm sorry I've never seen these in my yard and I've been here over thirty years. Must be found in a warmer climate then here, our winter's are long and cold. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
