Answer:	It has to do with who the actual "seller" is. If you select a quantity of "1", in this case, it is "sold and fulfilled" by Amazon. If you select a quantity of "2" it is "sold" by another company while still being "fulfilled" by Amazon. Yes, both quantities are, as of this writing, "fulfilled" by Amazon but that just tells you that Amazon stores, packages, and ships both items(1 and 2 packs) even though there are, in reality, two different "sellers". If you click back and forth on the quantity selector you'll see the "sold by" name change. Look just under the price after you switch. The seller of the 2 pack sets the price whereas the seller of the 1 pack(Amazon) sets its own price. I'm sure Amazon buys the 1 pack in very large quantities and, therefore, can get a bigger discount, per piece, than the other "seller" can get, per piece, for the 2-pack.

Answer:	This is a generally safe product according to my research. Make sure to read the packaging and follow direction. (FOR INDOOR USE READ THE FOLLOWING) One lesson I learned the hard way: the sugary syrup is irresistible to ants, even though it is laced with poison. This means when you use Tarro, you're actually providing access to free food! The poison will work on the ants and it takes about 18-24 hours to kill them... but as you wait after 24 hours, Tarro syrup will attract other thriving colonies into your home. They'll follow the same rich trails laid behind by the previous colony and even scavenge on the carcases of the previously fallen colony. This cycle will continue, attracting ants from far away reaches and allowing them to setup massive colonies within your home. This is especially true with Argentine ants (available throughout the world), which form massive colonies with multiple queens - a trait unique to this type of ant, whereas others will battle for territory. So the lesson learned is simple... once the initial 1 or 2 swarms die down, remove all baits and all forms of food from open spaces in your home; patch up all openings in walls, baseboards, cracks around windows, etc; apply perimeter pesticide around your home; and look for signs of wandering ants in the next week. If you see more ants then you missed an opening and already have an established colony in your wall.... repeat!! Just don't leave out Tarro and keep replenishing, especially in the case of Argentine ants.
Question:	Is this safe to have around pets? I have a curious cat
Answer:	I'd say no. My cat knocked one of these over once and licked the syrup. She was fine but it wasn't a fun afternoon (trip to the vet, etc.). Terro sells a version of this that encloses the bait in plastic and has sticky squares to attach them to the floor, counter, or other surfaces. I use those instead now.
Question:	I have a baby in the house and I would like to use this product to kill ants in my house. Any precautions you suggest before I use this product
Answer:	The ant trails at my house sometimes go from the floor to the ceiling. I turn the bait so that the liquid will not run out and use Scotch tape to tape it to the wall next to the ant trail. I tape the bait high enough that babies and grand children cannot get to it. It usually takes two days for the ants to disappear. Then three days after they disappear, they return to the trap. Another two days and they disappear again. The second time they disappear is usually the last time I see them at that location.

How Liquid Ant Bait Works

After finding the bait, worker ants consume it and leave behind a pheromone trail leading back to the colony. This trail lets other worker ants know where the newly discovered food supply is. This is why you will see more ants in the beginning.

Meanwhile, the active ingredient, Borax, is slowly interfering with the ant’s digestive system, ultimately killing it, but leaving enough time for the ant to go back and share the dose with the rest of the colony. This slow kill is necessary so that foraging ants can make several trips to the bait. The communal nature of an ant colony allows the bait to be spread to hundreds, if not thousands, of individual ants.

How to Use Liquid Ant Baits

TERRO Liquid Ant Baits are very easy to use. Before placing the bait stations, be sure to remove other sources of food, such as crumbs, sugar and grease spots to prevent attracting ants elsewhere. Question:	How many traps come in this box
Answer:	No, but don't let that be a major concern. It has been my experience the roaches will go to the bait. Maybe they can smell it or something. If you are really concerned, put some of that tape that has two sticky sides on the bottom of the bait. We put ours in drawers, under appliances and behind furniture. We especially targeted the kitchen and baths. You will also have to keep your grass short otherwise the roaches can hide there. Also, keep all leaves and other debris swept from all outside walls of your home. Be especially careful about spilled water and food crumbs.Other than that, check the bates every week. Answer:	I had the same experience with these roach bait arenas from advion, completely ineffective. What worked wonders for me was the combat roach bait traps that kills the nest. the only roaches I've seen after putting down the combat roach traps are dead ones. Problem solved.

Answer:	My renters have lived in the house for over a year with approx 72 of these in the home in that time. No complaints. Just make sure you follow the instructions for safety and placement.

I personally like the new design, choosing to use the option of separating the perforated traps into smaller strips therefore increasing the number of locations to place a single strip. However, this new design also gives you the option to tent the strip as the original design. Terro is the only product I've found to successfully monitor and trap brown recluse spiders that are otherwise hard to kill even with harsh pesticides.

Terro is a sweet bait; grease eating ants are attracted to protein. They might go for Terro; however if protein sources are still to be found in your house they will probably ignore the bait. I haven't had a problem with grease eating ants, but I understand that from folks who have that the Combat formula is better for attracting grease eating ants. You can also make your own baits for grease eaters by mixing boric acid (a white powder you can find in drugs stores or hardware stores) with peanut butter. Just make sure that the bait is out of reach of kids and animals (I have used boric acid/watermelon bait successfully with sweet-eating ants. However, it can only be used indoors, as sun dries it up and rain washes it away.) Good Luck!

Answer:	Yes absolutely I had the worst ant problem I have ever seen when I moved into my new home. They moved in because of a drought in Texas. The first two days I did not see much of a difference and was about to write a bad review, but I had to go out of town, I left and when I came back the next week there were no more ants, not a single one, in fact it has been almost a year and I still haven't seen one inside or outside since. This stuff is amazing. Also my dog ate 2 of the yard baits we were worried he would get sick but he was perfectly fine that's a plus also.
Question:	Will these work for carpenter ants
Answer:	Carpenter ants infest every tree on my property and I found them foraging inside the garage (very bad news). Mostly for the garage, but also because I have one very nice pin oak, I placed 2 of these just inside the garage door and at the base of the tree and within 1 month no more ants. So, I guess it works on carpenter ants. However, if you use the trap per the package instructions the carpenter ants are too large to enter. What you do instead is push down and rotate as instructed to puncture the internal pouch then very carefully lift the cup back up to its original position and snap it into place. This opens the trap all the way around an the carpenter ants can enter. I intend to buy more as it works on almost every ant on my property. And that's a lot of different types of ants. You might also try Bayer Advance 375A. Its a protein based poison and if the ants don't have a sweet tooth that day they go for it. The terro traps make excellent bait stations for the 375A once the liquid is gone.

Answer:	I have used this product for a couple of years now. It works great. I sprinkle it around my home and around my yard perimeter. I have not seen a decrease in the gecko's/lizards so I assume they are ok. I don't think squirrels are attracted to it either. The product works great for about 45-60 days.

Answer:	Amdro perimeter bait is a preventive solution for around the outside of the house to prevent ant from coming inside. If you already have ants in your home, try a different solution...such as Terro Liquid and bait. They shouldn't ignore that. You will have to put up with an ant trail for a couple of days, but they will go away.

What is the best way to treat for ants I found inside my home?

Answer:	There are 2 traps. Just pull them apart but be careful not to touch the black sticky on the trap.

Answer:	I have used them for Large rats... they do the death roll and get deeper in the goo. The Rain does not seem to weaken or stop it from working at all.

Question:	It seems too high off the floor for ants to crawl in, is this a problem
Answer:	I did not see that as a problem. I saw very small ants getting to the bait. After a couple of days the ants were no longer around.
Question:	Can these be used outside
Answer:	I'm not sure about outside but it works great on the inside.
Question:	Does it work on fire ants
Answer:	I have used this product inside the house only - and that was on sugar ants. I have not tried it for fire ants, but I doubt it would be effective. My experience with fire ants is that there are so many in a mound they would probably fill up the trap in a few minutes and the others would walk right over them!
