I placed one side on the glass and used the palm of my other hand to slowly smooth out air bubbles by keeping some tension on the shade as you put it in place. After having them up for a day or two, they laid flat and show no signs of wrinkles. If there are air bubbles, you can slowly lift up on the frame to the bubbles, and repeat smoothing it out again.

Then you can rotate it as much as you please. However, without the rod engaged, the two knobs probably can't hold it against a crosswind, so you won't want to leave it this way long-term.

Answer:	Can't lock it but I use a hook strap and it keeps the wind from swing it.

Answer:	We screwed the legs to our deck (all 4 of them) and didn't have to use the sand bag. However, the sand bag that comes with it is rather small and it would have taken A LOT of sand to hold this type of umbrella due to the design being off center and it swings. Hope this helps

Answer:	That is a sand bag for the bottom of the umbrella stand. The hole is where the poll goes. You can either dump the sand into the bag... or if your lucky, you can find sand in small bags and just place them inside. Or you could always fill with something else that is heavy... like rocks. I have to agree the shape is odd and seems like it should be bigger to cover the cross bars.

Answer:	I'm not sure what the gram weight of the fabric is but it is not as good as say a $300 umbrella. I have had it for a few months now and the color is beginning to fade on the cloth. It is a good value for what I paid for it , $89, but it is not the quality of an expensive one. Would I buy it again, I would say yes I would, because the price point is so low and it performs the function of keeping sun off my patio table. It worked out perfectly for me needs.
Question:	How much does the base weigh? Is it concrete - or do I have to fill it with sand? What is the diameter of the umbrella pole
Answer:	I don,t no, but the string broke in mine, and we took it apart and put a stronger core in it, it,s been working good, even the storm,s couldn,t damage it, also nail it down.

Answer:	The lowest point is the outer edge of umbrella , measuring about 70.5". We removed the stand and bolted the post into our wooden deck , but I think the post is at the same height . We found you need to open the umbrella off to the side of the tub then swing it in place because it dips down when you extend to offset position before opening . It's light weight and easy to do . Hope this helps .
