Answer:	Dominick, thank you for your question. Yes, the BUBrella has the maximum UV Rating of 50 UPF And endorsed by the Skin Cancer Foundation. UPF relates to clothing and shelters and the maximum rating is 50 whereas SPF relates to lotion and has a maximum rating of 100.
Question:	Does the canopy angle adjust at all? How do you deal with the late afternoon sun? The base looks like you can only have the pole straight up
Answer:	Thank you for your question. There are 2 main reason for the tilt feature in a beach umbrella. The BUBrella addresses both. First, tilt features are built into beach umbrellas to help with wind resistance. The BUBrella does not need this feature to withstand 35 mph wind. Second, as the sun sets tilting the umbrella helps to shade the setting sun. The beachBUB system uses a different approach to block the rays of the setting sun. Simply tilt the umbrella and base as a single unit. In order to tilt the whole umbrella you first build the base as you normally would making sure that you completely fill and pack the sand as you fill. Insert and open the umbrella. Gently, and with constant pressure, tilt the umbrella into the suns' rays. The umbrella has been tested to tilt up to 45 degrees. When you have blocked the sun all you need to do is re-fill the base if any sand has dribbled out. Also the pyramid shape of the base may become distorted but this will not affect the performance of the base or umbrella.

Answer:	I understand the snark on this question, but the truth is, I have never been able to get an umbrella screwed 18-24" (the safe depth) into the sand by myself. If my husband felt at all emasculated by my choosing this umbrella, he quickly got over it on the first day when his sister's umbrella (screwed into the ground by her 6'2" tall athletic husband) blew out of the sand, knocked me over, and pinned me underneath. Answer:	You don't have to turn the whole umbrella. The umbrella's pole comes apart. The auger is attached to the bottom half of the pole, and there is a small metal rod that fits thru two holes toward the top of the pole that you use as a handle. You "screw" this part of the pole into the sand and then attach the umbrella with the upper half of the pole. We used ours last summer -- it's really very convenient and sturdy.

Answer:	As in the description, there are 16 fiberglass ribs. The fabric is stronger than most umbrellas I have seen and it is 8' which is a great size. We love it and highly recommend

Answer:	To the best of my knowledge, no. Virtually all these umbrellas have one height but can be tilted (as shown) to various angles to compensate for the breeze/wind. We have always used umbrellas with more than 8 struts...they are sturdier & last longer. This one is very similar to our previous ones & they all worked well. Note: you always need a deep anchor to secure them in the sand. The short ones don't work for long.

Answer:	2 pieces. One has a screw in the ground end on the bottom. The top “inner” opening is an 1 1/8” it is 45” long. The other top tube that contains the umbrella, is just under an 1 1/8” outside dimensions. So it slides cleanly into the other tube. It is 46” long. I love it! Well built. Hope this helps ❤️

Answer:	The fabric is fine very durable The only issue I had was when I used the item on day one I could not release the bottom pole from the top it was jammed and no sand was inside the bottom or too top pole to cause a jam I noted that when I first attempted to join the poles that the botton clip was hard to engage. When I called the vendor, they replaced the unit right away When the replacement arrived I used WD 40 on the bottom latch to ensure a easy extraction and I have had no issues The local rental on my Del Beach gets $ 20 a day for a similar unit It is a good item

Step1

The improved umbrella sand anchor, separate foldable sand anchor, easy to carry with the umbrella, as shown in step1.

Step2

Take out the iron tube from the fixed location and insert it to the hole of the umbrella anchor. Hold both ends of the iron tube and turn it. Clockwise into the sand (the deeper the better), as shown in step2.

Step3

Pull out the iron tube and unloose the umbrella screw, take out the lower pole of your umbrella and put the lower pole into the umbrella anchor, as shown in step3.
