Answer:	It gets pretty hot, I have never measured. Think of it as a griddle, takes a good 10 minutes to get really hot and I have successfully cooked pork, chicken, red meat and veggies in ample time on the high setting. I love it.

Answer:	Hi there. When I received mine, it came with an instruction sheet. The sheet wasn't the best, it was very basic, 1 page.....sort of a basic map of how to assemble it, based upon common knowledge. It was all visual, there were no written instructions. I Google'd for you now and saw no phone number listed for them. If you go to your Orders in Amazon and bring up the order for the chair you bought, it says to the right of the picture "Product question? Ask Seller". The "Ask Seller" is a blue hyperlink. If you hit "Ask Seller", it takes you to a screen where you can send them an email within Amazon, and it says "Please allow 2 business days for the seller to respond."
