I believe the stand would accomodate a slightly larger pole because I believe I needed to tighten the adjustable knob a fair amount.hope this helps. Answer:	yes. just don't use a coleman propane lantern the heat might melt to top if too close. also make sure its not to heavy. it could bring the canopy down. reason its held up my tension so if the lantern is too heavy well it will colaps it

Answer:	We always recommend securing your Quick-Set Shelter by using the provided tie out ropes and stakes. You could also use sand bags as well to secure the sides. We also would recommend putting some type of pad under the touch points to alleviate any wear on the corners where they touch the patio. Answer:	The green one doesn't seem to have the rain flaps at the roofline that the 9879 for sure has. That's the only difference I see. You could use wind panels on the 9821, but it won't keep rain out.
Question:	do I need to use a table or will this support an umbrella without a table
Answer:	That might work, but you have to modify how you attach it to the inside of the tent. There is a way to attach to the out side of the tent using the hooks. What I did was make a bar that attaches to the upright bars on each side of the door. Attach the panel to the cross bar. The next upgraded unit the Pavillion has it already built in, but it is $150-$175 more and it is 150" wide and 9 feet tall. Hope this information helps.

Answer:	Hello Diane! A 7.5ft umbrella would need at least a 8kg umbrella base to support it's total weigh. Luckily! This model is 12kg and should do more than fine with the umbrella height specified.

Question:	Is the stand black as stated or is it bronze like the picture
Answer:	For winter I cut the bottom half of a soda bottle, take off the label, and it fits the post perfectly (If you pick the right soda) and slip it over the post. It keeps water from collecting in the hole. Then just leave the base out till next summer. Ours has baked in the sun on the south side of the house and is fine after 6 years.
Question:	How would this hold a large rectangular 10’umbrella
Answer:	95 lb option: use 75 lbs sand. 110 lb option: use 90 lbs of pea pebbles. 125 lbs option: use 12 bricks (4 x 81/4 x 21/2 inches and about 35lbs sand. Great umbrella base.
Question:	Can I get need pipe only? Base is fine
Answer:	We have had two of these umbrella stands for about 4 years now. We live in Iowa and they have remained outside the entire time (they're too heavy to move down the stairs to bring them in!) They look like they are brand new.
Question:	Is this made of steel or resin? Title says steel, description says resin. We do not want a concrete type material that will break easily
Answer:	I have a 9 foot one in mine and it is very sturdy. I don't know about an 11 ft. but there ARE several different sized inserts for different diameter poles. My 9 ft. umbrella has a 1.5 inch diameter pole and there are larger inserts to hold bigger poles that come with this order. That is the only info I can offer.

Answer:	I have a large rectangylar umbrella on this base. It does good, except with gusty winds. I had mine tip over. Other than that. It is a good stand.
