Answer:	Not sure what is average. But we are on the smaller size. I'm male 5' 8" 160 and I can sit no problem. Solid wood.

Answer:	I think 7yr old will be too big. It's perfect size for my 3yr old. For an easy reference, this table is a couple inches lower than my end tables. There are larger kid tables out there. When I complained to Kidcraft about the finish about two years ago, I had mentioned my son's age, which was 18m at the time; Kidcraft's response was basically that the age range was 3-8yrs and my son was too young. I really do not know how they could think that an 8yr old would want to sit at a table this small; and an 8yr old certainly would not be comfortable in the chairs, which are the same size, if not slightly smaller, than the ones in my son's preschool.

Answer:	I’ve had no issue with LEGO brand legos on this. Now the off brand legos do have issues. Although I have had issues them sticking together to good and requiring the LEGO tool.

Answer:	Regular lego pieces fit, including duplo and junior. I will warn you though that not all pieces will stick. Big green plates and pretty much any flat piece that is bigger than 6x6 will not connect to the table. I don't know why. The grey plates are glued on and they are kind of bubbly in spots (not a big deal to me) but there are 4 plates in total and they don't match up at the seams so you couldn't stick pieces across where the plates meet. Annoying, yes, but my kids don't notice and they make do.

Answer:	Yes. It weighs about 25-30 lbs, but if you are used to picking up a toddler it will be easy for you to lift. Also- you could put a wash cloth or hand towel under the table on each side & it would slide very easily on tile. I push it around my tiled living room every time I vacuum. Question:	If paint or marker gets on the wood does it clean off easily
Answer:	We have had our set for almost two years and it has been subjected to all the abuse a 2-year-old, a 4-year old, a 6-year-old, a number of teenagers and some adults can imagine and still looks near new. The only time the chairs have tipped over is when someone, usually my husband, is leaning back on two legs or standing on the chairs and leaning over the back. The only ding is on the table and a two inch piece broke off when the children stacked all the chairs up and then tried to balance the table on top of it. We glued the piece back on and you can't tell where it was broken and the children were sternly told not to play circus with their table. I kept the hex key used to put the set together and regularly, about every couple of months, try to tighten all the screws. Usually only a few screws on the chair legs need tightened and I'm sure that is from the rough play they have endured. I would purchase this item again and tell everyone that it is the best investment you can make. Tea time with my grandson and the three bears, priceless.

Answer:	The chair height is 11 inches. Our nearly three year old granddaughter measures 10.5 inches to the center of her knee and the slightly younger one measures 9.5 inches. They both sit comfortably on the chairs and at the table.
