Answer:	The wine glasses are strapped in right underneath where the plates are. So, yes, holding the basket by the handle when closed will make everything in the basket fall on top of the glasses. Answer:	Great question and thank you for checking in on our Piccadilly! Without the handle, the height in the middle is 10.63". The lid slopes downward so the sides have a slightly lower height of 8.25". Hope this helped!

Answer:	Yes! :) the side with the cups has less depth for storage at they are round. But the space in this basket is adequate enough to hold a nice sized meal and a bottle of whatever you prefer!

Answer:	The blanket is big enough, My wife bought a bigger one because we are a bigger people. I have no regrets on the basket. It was a good buy for us.

Answer:	That sounds like a question you should ask the seller. I wouldn’t want to put food into somethings that odor... I am not the seller, so I can’t be much help.

Answer:	I wouldn't recommend it. I hand wash mine. The plates are very very small, size for a snack and not a lunch... be careful when you open it because the plates are so heavy that it tips over the basket. Best take the plates out first because it does tip over the basket
