Answer:	Although the manufacturer states 37 lb, I have found my 28 lb toddler is already outgrowing hers. She is not particularly chunky in her legs, but due to what I feel is a design flaw, the center strap is very short causing it to be too tight and sit too low on her.

Answer:	We've got some side rails that I didn't want to drill into. So here's what I did. (This only works if you're somewhat handy or have a friend with some tools.)* Cut two boards the height of Gate. (I used 3/4 plywood and cut them around 5" wide.)* Drilled 1/4 inch holes through top and bottom of these boards.* Used threaded steel rod, (1/4 x 20 threads), and cut two pieces, (one for top and one for bottom), to hold the boards together on either side of the railing.* Used knurled knobs from a wood working store with 1/4" threaded centers to screw on one side of the board. (Kind of hard to explain without pics, but basically countersunk bolts on the gate side, with the knobs on the side where the stairwell is.)* Then just installed the gate to this board.* I think they sell kits to be able to do this. But for maybe $5 in parts and some scrap wood you can do it yourself. All you really need is a circular saw, and something to cut the steel rod with. (And file the edges so you can thread the knobs on.)* I've tried to attach a picture to my earlier review with what I did. Assuming it gets approved, if you look for my review or maybe do a search for 'Railing Attachment Board" you'll find the pics.

Answer:	As Jen said, as long as you lock it down it doesn't go anywhere. But if you don't, it can flex a lot. Maybe not enough for a kid to easily crawl under if installed in on a flat pass through area. But if at top of stairs, that could be a problem. (Yes, we failed to lock it once and almost had a problem.) Zero issues when locked though.

Answer:	Yes! We have two angled steps before the rest of our stairs going up, and we were able to install it on that angle. It works perfectly, and is a really good quality gate.

Answer:	Because one sits straddling the chair (kind of facing backwards towards the handle) there is the support of the handle to help. On the other hand, you do have to be able to move your legs apart enough to get them around the seat when you get on and when you stand up. I am disabled with back and sciatic problems. I can manage it except on my very worst days. I have a friend who is 87 years old with a pin in her hip and she uses one. I hope this helps.
Question:	what is the base of the seat made out of
Answer:	The seat is about maybe 6" X 8". Thats a guess but the seat part is ok. The chair does exactly as advertised. I took this to Disney Land, Sea world, Universal Studios and the SanDiego Zoo. It made these trips bearable since I have a bad back and have to sit quite often. I wouldn't exceed the weight limits of the chair because I've heard it will break if you do. It holds me very easily and I am at 188. Universal Studios was the only place that asked me about it. I told them it was for walking and they didnt say more. If you need a place to sit due to medical issues I would recommend this. Just be sure to sit in it as you would if you turned a chair backward and sat facing the back.
Question:	Can I use this without the tray - using our table as a tray? She 14mths and petite. Do you think it's high enough
Answer:	Just weighed it at 1 pound, 1 ounce. My wife has MS, and I bought this for her to use on a cruise. Lots of lines and waiting. She swears by it and can operate it easily. And if she can use it easily with muscular coordination problems, I would bet just about anyone can.

Answer:	I'm not sure what the height limit is...good thing there are 3 height positions and my 6 month old can just touch the floor at the lowest/starting position and he is 50 percentile in height. I do know the max weight is 25 lbs. My little one is 18lbs 9oz...he is 75 percentile in weight. I do hope he gets a lot of use out of it before he reaches the weight limit. Answer:	I have a go pod that two of my kids wore out. The floor material tore. Now that I have a third child I'm going to try this one. While the go pod kept first my child happy my second child knocked it over a few times?! Scary. I jumped out of the shower once and managed to catch her. Wonder Woman!!! And the material just sinks down with the child. It was a very uninteresting product. I can't wait to take this bouncer everywhere!

Answer:	I literally just tried with a splash of water since I never really paid attention. It's two layers and the water kind of just rolls around on the top layer. If you wipe it up, it's wet but the bottom layer doesn't allow the water to go through to the floor.
Question:	What is the mat made of? Id like to use if for our dogs in my apartment
Answer:	It is made of easy wiped and water-resistant fabric, and also non-slip.

Answer:	I suppose it could be, but it is already finished and smooth so would likely need a bit of prep.

Answer:	I do not know what type of wood this chair is made from, however, I found it to be well made and a great deal. Other friends have purchased this chair after seeing how cute it was.
