Answer:	I do not use it on her front legs or belly, but it works great on the other areas she too is a pitmix. I was tearing my hands up trying to remove the hair from the wire type brushes, this hair release button is tha bomb!

Answer:	Unfortunately, I have already discarded the packaging that the nippers came in. I looked, carefully, on the item for the country of origin and I'm unable to see any indication of the country of origin. Two things about the product that really do not affect their purpose: The lock which is supposed to hold the handles in a closed (safe) position is plastic and about the thickness of the average toothpick; works once. The nail file included in the handle is a nice touch, but it doesn't perform satisfactorily on any nail type, including your own. Short answer: I'm not sure. Sorry.
