Answer:	NO!!! Don't do it. Washing it will ruin it. I washed mine and had to buy another one! Also note: the texture is not thick and wooly like in the picture, which is no doubt of a *real* sheepskin. This one has thin, longish "fur." The real skins have a more lush look and feel. We have some of both. I get the fake ones because I have a cat who loves to sleep on them!

Answer:	This rug is really nice. My suggestion is to order larger sizes such as 5x8 or 7x10. If you are ordering the 2x4 door mat it will be the same rug of course but the pattern will be compressed and small due to the size being so small. However, I highly suggest this rug for living room size 7x10 or 8x11. Its super nice and very good deal for the price. The size size for the 2x3 is 2 feet by 3.6 feet and you will have fringes on both ends so its rounded up to 2x4 with fringes on both ends. Really nice rug!
