Answer: You can leave the canopy on the frame when it is pushed together. However, the canopy material could get ripped as you compress the frame. I leave my upper canopy on & take the lower canopy off when I store it.

Answer: The diagram is correct in that the corner to corner distance is just shy of 13 feet. My measurement was 12' 10.75" or 1.25" short of 13 feet. Based on TV ads, I'd say it's safe to round up to 13 feet. Hope that helps.

The sturdy framework has pivot points thruout it, top and sides, to allow it to expand to full size or reduce to compact size in order to fit the travel bag it comes with. I have had it for about a month and used it on calm days and mild windy days i.e. 5-15 mph. For the windy days, I purchased tent stakes to secure the canopy. In my opinion, the steel stakes supplied does not inspire confidence on a windy day. To secure it, I used the cord supplied with the canopy. I am happy with the product and use it to shelter my grandson while he plays outdoors.

Answer: Yes, it the legs are straight that can move up or down. The material of the tent won't last long. I had to buy new commercial grade ones on both.

Answer: I don't know if they have parts or not but my tent looks like fed-ex must have dropped it on the end because I have two broken parts But trying to send something like this back and getting another is to much. Ill just make the top part that holds up the canopy . Glue and screw a brace to the broken corner bracket and stop dealing with amazon or anyone else that dose not have a phone number.
